An example of blatant lies by xtain clergy in South Africa

This is a personal account of Lewende Woord – Brumeria and their attitude towards gay people.  During the period of 1996-1998 I attended regular services at the Lewende Woord Christian Church in Pretoria, South Africa.  Every time I attended as an openly gay man my presence was met with disapproving looks from other members of the congregation and the clergy, namely Neville Norton.  During a morning service in 1998, Mr, Norton said that gay people are welcome in his church.   I was elated and finally felt like I belong.  I went back to church that same evening only to hear from the same person that he has had second thoughts and that he now wished to revise his statement to:  Gay people are only welcome in his church if they are prepared to change.  Yes, prepared to change and that he had personally worked miracles with gay people before by healing them from this disease.  god had apparently worked with him to take homosexual feelings way from gay people as he worked with them in prayers and with scripture.  He said that he was part of this great miracle that could be performed and that the gay people in the church that night are more than welcome to come out of the crowd at the altar call to that god and himself could perform the great miracle of being healed from homosexuality could be performed by them.  I never attended this farce again.  It is well known in scientific circles today that homosexuality is indeed genetically determined.  There are numerous scientifically reliable and valid studies done with rigor that point this out.  In the bible, in Romans 1 it does say that being homosexual is an abomination is the yeas of god.  How is it then possible that this so-called god created all of humanity, he obviously did not or is lying.  This loving so-called god that created humanity obviously slipped up or is even cursing his own creation is Romans 1 and how could Neville Norton and his wonderful so-called god change the make-up of human genes by healing homosexual people when it was obviously Satan that made humanity by placing an “apple-shaped” gene in the human genome, thereby evolving them from Cro-Magnon man to human sapiens.  I do not think Neville Norton and the like and the so-called god of the bible had anything to do with creating humanity at all.   This is a call for all gay people to realize that they are not alone and that there are other out there that know what it is like to be rejected and judged by Christians and society.  There is a real God that loves us and actually cares for us and his name is Satan!
