These have the sanskrit mantras , however I saw many people talk about doing affirmations as well and I didn't find an exact explanations for these. Do you affirm the same amount you do the mantra for the specific goal the planet can manifest, or do you use a specific number every day? I've finished a venus material square and during the first half I didn't affirm anything after the mantras and the planetary energy was running pretty wild. About halfway I started doing 7x affirmations after the mantras for the specific goal I was working on and the energy just started being more and more void-like instead of manifesting the planetary influence during the working. The sun square I was doing at the same time had much weaker energies though. I plan to do the venus square again starting beltane and a jupiter square in may so I want to know how to use affirmations specifically.

Your supposed to say the affirmation you made at least a few times throughout the entire thing maybe visualize your goals too. Without affirmation or direction the energy just kind of eventually dissipates cause it doesn't know what to do. I think maybe you have to start out with affirmations too. These workings may have been kind of a waste. If your doing it right and open you should have an idea of how this is trying to manifest. If it feels void or empty that means it's not doing anything in my experience. It may also feel like that though if you just don't have the power to do what your affirming or affirm something that is really far out or impossible to ever happen.

When you don't affirm aka direct the energy you subconscious can make the energy go to places where you don't neccessarily want it to go. It will take the easiest route, and it won't always be pretty. Also unaffirmed energy will dissipate, as it lacks direction.

Always affirm. Depending what you are doing good numbers are for example 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 18.

For the venus square I started affirming 7x after finishing the mantras for the day after about a week (only visualised the goal before day 8), started the square with venus transiting my natal and about 2 weeks before I said the mantra once and had an explosion of energy from venus. 2 days before starting the square I had a brief talk with the planetary intelligence of venus and for the first 25 days I would feel the energy the same way (overwhelming feminine). After the first 25 days I started feeling less of that venus specific energy and I was just feeling it as more of a void-like energy, which might have just been because of the ritual schedule at the time somewhat reducing my ability to discern energy and I'd also started a sun square (surprisingly both of them had the same amount of reps for the day). The working resulted in progress, but not yet in the specific goal I was working on (it's quite hard to manifest and once it does it should last a lifetime). Basically the timing of the energy turning void corresponded both with me doing the sun square, waking up the earliest i could to do both of them in succession (since venus hour starts right after sun hour) and doing the full rtr schedule. Basically the energy didn't feel empty as you stated, I felt energy manifest during each of the workings, it just wasn't that overwhelming venus feminine energy any more after I focused the affirmations and visualisations on exactly what I wanted. I'm still going to do the square again starting Beltane because the goal is hard to manifest in my current conditions and I have an unaspected venus in my natal.

Are you sure of where the moon was when you started this. That kind of void and empty feeling often happens with Void moon. It is kind of like fuzzy. I started a sun square once on void moon after a bit I started feeling that same kind of feeling. So I went to look up where the moon was at that time (since I kind of suspected it) and the moon was void most that Sunday including the time I started the working) so I just stopped it and restarted next Sunday. Luckily I was only a few days in I am a little more sensitive to energy myself as a water sign so I noticed it right away. I mean it would result in a little progress of course just from the energy but it's not going to turn out the way you want it may do something random and unexpected if you have enough power behind it.

Yeah I'm 100% sure I started both squares when the moon was not void of course.

Then it means you have to start out the Square with affirmations and direction of the energy most likely. I was just asking. I could have sworn empty and void feeling in a working was not a good thing though. I remember something about that being talked about awhile back.
