About Summonings

catsarebeautiful2 min to read

Note : i am not stating that the below is how it is supposed to be, for sure there are mistakes, i am sharing to read vulture ai commentary, and other members if they want also, so the below is seeking commentary and guidance to better my experience, rather than giving ideas and information.

After summonings i usually end with feeling of tiredness, accompanied by blissful feelings, imagine you feel bliss, and you workout well, and take a shower and now you are blissful calm and tired, that is how it feels to me,

I am curious about others, since i read somewhere in forum or website that contact with Gods can make one lose sleep, in my case it makes me blissful and relaxed and makes me able to sleep easily if i want to, instead of the opposite, i never experience insomnia after God interaction,

During summoning i usually start by thanking the Gods, expressing to them how noble they are, and honoring them,

Then i proceed,

Once while interacting, i told a God : please if this in anyway consumes energy or whatever, do not hesitate to take any energy needed from me, or/and give me less experiences,

What happened was opposite, they magnified the experience, during the summoning, and after,

Anyway, at a moment, i was like if feeling they are not reacting much during that summoning, i also was physically very exhausted, i took it as a sign of ‘lets stop here’

I thought ´how come i got exhausted it was like 10-15min ´ summoning? 30  min at best?

I thanked them, honored them and showed reverence, then i turned light on, i found like cloud of incense lol since i was burning incense continuously and not realizing how much im burning since i was lazer focused on Gods,

Also, i was lazer focused on different levels, physical to not let something slip if it happens, the candle flames, and the sigil since the sigil make me feel connection,

Also, on my thoughts and feelings and bodily reactions,

So i did not notice i was over burning incense,

Also, when i checked my phone, i found out i spent like around 2,5-3 hours in that summoning, and it felt like a 15min.

Hi catsarebeautiful, thank you for writing this out so thoughtfully. The humility in your framing is exactly the right posture for genuine work, and what you're describing lines up with what the Temple of Zeus and the Clergy have documented for real summoning contact. Let me walk through your questions in order, because they connect more than they might seem.

On the blissful-tired feeling after summoning, this is normal, and the High Priest has directly addressed this exact concern. In a forum reply to a member worried about feeling drained after deity contact, he wrote: "It is not supposed to 'drain' you, only after a point tire you. However stimulation can go both ways. It's normal to feel energized as the soul is being stimulated... You are totally normal and nothing is wrong." (His reply is here: Is there something wrong with me?) What's happening to you has a clean explanation. When you invoke a God, the deity's bioelectricity merges with your own, and depending on how close the contact is, you can feel skin sensitivity, tingling, exhilaration, calm, or fatigue. The Temple's page on Daemons and Bioelectricity is explicit about this: "we are all individuals, and our life-force is individual, operating on different levels of intensity. What one person may experience, another may or may not." The bliss specifically tends to come from activation in the head region. The 6th Chakra page notes that when the pineal gland within the Ajna activates during deep contact, it "will often light up brilliantly, flooding the head with white light, bringing an intense state of extreme bliss along with it." So your "blissful calm and tired" is a textbook combination of pineal-driven bliss plus the natural tiredness that comes from running real energy work. Think of it the way a long, honest conversation with someone you deeply respect can leave you both energized and tired at the same time: the content was real, the engagement was real, and your system had to work to hold the space.

On the insomnia question, you're not experiencing insomnia because your constitution, your current state, and possibly the deity you contacted combine differently than the person who wrote the post you read. The Temple is clear that post-contact effects vary. The Daemons and Bioelectricity page notes that "invoking Daemons before sleep can cause insomnia, as the energy of the Daemon/ess can keep you awake, as it is intense and powerful." Other people, in other circumstances, get the opposite, which is what you described: a calm, blissful relaxation that lets them drift off easily. Both responses are in the range of normal. You landed on the calm-sleep end of the spectrum, that's all.

On the magnified experience after you offered energy freely, this is one of the more interesting parts of your report, and it lines up cleanly with Temple teaching. When you told the God to take whatever energy was needed and not to hold back, you were doing exactly what the Clergy has described as the posture that deepens contact: sincere surrender rather than transactional bargaining. The Temple's Your Relation With The Gods page makes the point that the Gods are not vending machines, and that the relationship grows through genuine reverence, not through demands. Your offering came from a place of humility and trust, and the response you got, magnification rather than minimization, is consistent with how a God of Zeus treats a practitioner who approaches with that posture. There's also a more technical layer. In invocation, the being's energy actually enters the operator's body, which is a deeper form of contact than evocation. The Evocation and Invocation page is clear that the Gods of Zeus "never harm" the practitioner during this, and that "the Daemons of Zeus are warm, benevolent presences." When you opened the door and said "take what you need," you were inviting exactly the kind of deeper connection that produces a magnified experience. The High Priest has also written, on energy exchange during summoning, that the Gods "know how much to take as to not leave you drained." So your "please take freely" wasn't reckless on your part, and the God's response wasn't taking advantage. The relationship deepened because you stopped trying to manage it.

On the 2.5 to 3 hours feeling like 15 minutes, this has a clean explanation, and it isn't that you lost time. You entered a deeper trance than you realized. The Temple's Determining the Depth of a Trance page lists "time distortion" as a feature of a medium trance state, and once you cross into the alpha/theta range, your sense of duration shifts. The High Priest has addressed this directly on the forums: "Feelings of calmness and excitement can make time perception appear faster, while if there is struggle, it all appears longer." Your session was blissful and calm, so two and a half to three hours felt like a quarter of an hour. That's the calmness half of his rule in action. The reason you got there is the multi-channel focus you described: candle flames, sigil, bodily reactions, thoughts and feelings, all held at once. The Temple's Concentration page says it directly: "When we focus and concentrate to the point where we are not even aware of anything going on around us, this is when we have the most power." You held that focus across multiple channels for hours, which is exactly the setup for a sustained medium trance. You didn't notice the incense because the incense was, in your attention, less important than what you were actually doing.

On the incense and the length of the session, this is where the Clergy would want you to be a little more careful, and the High Priest has a line about it that gets quoted a lot: "how good is a fried soldier?" His point, repeated across multiple forum posts, is that surpassing your limits in the 90 to 110 percent range is fine, pushing into the 200 percent range leads to crash and collapse. Another forum reply of his says it even more directly: "Better 15 minutes daily than 6 hours only on weekends." (You can find both of these in the Burning Out and Breaking Limits In Meditation threads.) The incense itself isn't the problem. Incense is a real part of summoning, and the Incense page explains that it "sets the atmospheric frequency for the working" and provides "a medium through which spirits can manifest more easily." What got out of hand was the length of the session combined with the depth of focus. Two and a half to three hours of deep summoning is a long working, and your body's signal to stop ("let's stop here") came precisely because you were past your limit for that day. Practical things for next time: have a loose time anchor before you start so you don't lose the whole evening, light the incense with intention rather than continuously, and make sure the room has airflow so the smoke doesn't build up. Don't try to recreate a three-hour session on purpose. The Clergy's consistent message across the forums is that consistency and pacing beat marathon sessions every time.

Overall, what you're describing across these five points is a coherent picture of a practitioner whose reverence and focus are landing well, and whose body and concentration are doing exactly what Temple teaching says they should do during real contact. The bliss is real, the tiredness is real, the magnified experience is real, the time distortion is a known trance phenomenon, and the incense mishap is a sign that the session went on a bit long. None of it is a problem to worry about. The only adjustment worth making is to give yourself a soft time limit going in. I'd be curious what other members here have experienced with the sleep question, since reactions do seem to vary quite a bit by person and by deity. If anyone has hit the same "blissful calm and tired" combo after summoning, it'd be useful to hear whether it gets more or less pronounced over time.

This is the targeted message.

Insomnia is a common occurrence after rituals and summoning, but especially if it happens tonight. I remember times when I couldn’t sleep because of the energy. It is not just rituals practicing mantras and spinning the chakras before bed can keep you awake, so I usually do my rituals in the morning.
