The matters are extremely simple here regarding drugs.
1. Every drug targets a specific part of the body, element, and archetype of energy. The majority of the drugs are either a "fake" similarity of own internal chemicals which exhibit the likeness of inner stimulation (but it is external), synthetic and artificial, either a natural occurrence of chemical that even as so, is still an external enactor.
Thinking of a positive exit from this is as follows. A chemical will have the effect, only if there are receptors and a basis for these chemicals to be "alive" and " acting" in our system. So for example, for cannabis to work, it needs the endocannabinoid system.

From an internal standpoint and spiritual, the system and chemical is already existing and CAN be multiplied by NATURALLY internal work. People are LAZY. Not to mention the natural action in this involves the energy of the consciousness which activates these chemicals as catalysts of its own power, and not just multiplying as a mere physical mechanism that is done by taking fake ass drugs.
You can have all of the cannabinoids active in your brain without external action, but higher manifestation unto the material. This is why it is called anandamide and other insightful words, as the relation is direct and it is a work of activation from within not from external.
This sums up the recreational use which is also a fake idea. Life itself can become "recreational" by advancing spiritually, meaning you create yourself purposefully, it is not escapism of the work of life, quite the opposite.
Take for example also LSD. It alters as all of them alter, the pathway of neural connections. If you have had an old computer and saw what a virus can do and also an increased input of electricity, you would see glitches and flashes or even frying the computer. This is the same, it takes the input of bioelectricity, the chemicals, it mixes them up and messes with the ability of correct connection. Also on your computer, do you connect the adaptor of the video card to the source of power or whatever?
Drugs are amazing for illnesses and saving lives. Without morphine or other opioids, anesthetics etc., real and good surgery would never happen. People would die from the pain itself, not the illness. The same likness of drugs that act on the already existing platforms on us, which in turn can also be stimulated from within. The sacral chakra with the male elixir can exhibit the effect of opioids but only healthy.
Every effect on the body comes with consequences. For example, these effects happen in the elemental structure of the body and soul. Smoking pot all of the time will destabilize the sacral chakra. Will deplete the water element by overburdening it with water. It will substitute the natural and personal water with that of a mere plant of the earth, which is extremely not so complex as the body's water, which is a regression in itself.
Our inner complexity is way beyond just a simple chemical action and dependence, substituting the potentiality of our own reserve is delayed torture.
2. All of the effects of the drugs are borrowed sentiments and feelings. What you feel and experience is not a drug, but your own being forced into a state of being that at that level is unnatural and not suited to sustain it. IF you feel "ecstasy" from a drug, it is because your ecstasy is your own amplification and reserve that you use in a single instance and not on actual reactive response. Nothing is outside of yourself or your capabilities, but attaining that state of being that is by default deeply misunderstood, by a drug, you already invalidated the meaning, understanding, and mechanisms of your own body to sustain it in the future.
Drugs also destroy the capacity to feel electromagnetic forces. It also deeply destroys the magnetic directions of the body. The polarities and the forces within the bodies have a specific timing and direction. These forced actions in the system mess with this and create very horrible effects.
Teenagers are the easiest to be swayed into this because simply they don't know how sensorial effects and their own bodies exist and are. If you take a drug and you are smitten in a maniacal euphoria, it is only natural just as any rat or animal, to want to experience it again. Which is a self-defeating purpose by the reality, as the meaning of existence is resumed at just existing in a static stance, comatose.
After advancement, if you smoke pot or any drug, it will create lesser feelings and euphoria than being normal. The level's own power of happiness etc can be way above in a normal advancing human than any chemical. Taking a drug would mean dragging yourself in a lesser state of being, while a normie would experience an existential crisis of euphoria.
I will also add other comments on this. Everything also must not be understood as just this simple material thinking, this is extremely rooted in hard spiritual work and level. Never forget also drugs of this kind are of Neptune, which is direct delusion if done by external action.
There are many types of "bliss", and are related to the parts of action and effect. The sacral chakra creates the bliss of the material body, where every cell, part of the flesh is extremely comfortable, full of a feeling of well-being and beauty. Extremely healthy and flowing. This is a very physical feeling, and nurturing effect of the coldness of the sacral chakra. You feel like in a womb, extremely protected and wealthy. I believe that the sacral chakra activates the release of a lot of endorphins, and acts on the opiate receptors in the brain, nullifying any tension and discomfort in the brain, creating pleasure and extreme relaxation.
Also, similarly, the solar chakra activates also the inactive serotonin chemicals in this effect on consciousness from the digestive tract, in intense meditation, however. These are just some observations, I think it is enough to explain the effects on the body. All of these effects are connected and structured upon the function of every chakra and the physical part.
Every chakra can induce a feeling of bliss related to its reality. The heart chakra for example stimulates the endocannabinoid system, by the front extension up upon the stern. This communicates with the brain and opens extreme creative imaginative powers in the brain. Extreme visual and audible experiences, which can be frightening as the control of these are very hard to establish. The Endocannabinoid system is also making the nervous system very relaxed, which is an effect of the paralyzing ice of the heart chakra when the energy descends.
There are times when this can prove extremely positive when clinical medication is required and done by specialists, however that level is only for survival, not these falsely perceived ways of existence. At most, a tea from hemp and only two sips after consulting a doctor, instead of doing sleeping pills and other bullshit is very helpful. You can help with micro dosages of safe and non-drug products of water types and herbs, but not recreational drugs. Self-administering is also extremely stupid if done out of the need for sensorial gratification or any justification without a direct illness-related problem.
