About a few dreams I had

Avatarcoral__2 min to read

Good morning to all!

This past October I had, as the title said, a series of dreams that are really intriguing me.

I already know what is the meaning behind them, more or less, but I'd like to hear what other Zevists might think about them.

In this dreams, I keep seeing references and symbols of Lord Anubis.

The first I clearly remember: I was in this kind of temple, like those in Egypt, it was dark and illuminated only by candles. I was walking with other people and at some point I pick up this bronze sphere with many hieroglyphics engraved on it and as I was operating it (some parts of the sphere could be moved) a big door opened and a beautiful black dog, it looked like a big Dobermann, with golden eyes came through and walked towards me.

Then, when the HP posted the necromantic rituals, I dreamed of doing one. Again, I was walking inside a temple (but I don't really remember how it looked like) and it was, again, dark and candle lit but this time there was this strange mist in the corridors. I was dressed with this veil and walking with other people and then I suddenly stop (I don't remember anymore why) and I started doing one of the rituals, I woke up when I started to vibrate Fehu (I think). Today, I dreamed of doing another ritual like that.

In another one, I just saw Anubis without being in any strange situation.

I could go on as I have some more but it would become an endless post.

I wanted to share this dreams with everybody, maybe someone has a different insight than me.

Thank you!

Greetings Coral__, your dreams sound very beautiful,
On the ToZ website, the Fe (Fehu) rune begins the Futhark alphabet and is the first of the three ættir - One interpretation could be that you may be looking for change and that now would be a good time to work towards anything pertaining towards: Wealth, possessions, honors, property, money, expansion. Power over one’s environment; increase in wealth; fertility; mobility. - Could be worth pursuing if this resonates.

It also sounds like you may be quite drawn to the God Anubis, Lord of the Underworld Depths, Patron of the Departed, Holder of the Mystery of the Great Key. I highly recommend you read his page on the Temple of Zeus, here's a link to a page about the God Anubis. And if you'd like, you can also do his Ritual, which can be found here: Anubis's Power Ritual.

I also suggest channelling these creative energies into artwork if you'd like to capture the feel of these dreams, or maybe try writing poetry! We have a section on the forums dedicated towards "Art & Creativity" and you could also share your work on there. 🌟

This is the targeted message.

It would help to know how much you had been thinking about Lord Anubis before these dreams began. Had you been reading about Him frequently, wanting to establish a connection, or imagining yourself participating in these rituals?

If these themes had been occupying your thoughts intensely, the dreams could be continuing those thoughts during sleep. You mention that the ritual dreams followed the publication of the rites, so there is a connection with your waking experience worth considering.

If the first dream came unexpectedly, before you had been particularly focused on Him, I would also consider an interpretation of this centred on your relationship with Anubis. How you felt when the dog approached, and what remained with you after waking, would help us explore that possibility.

The sphere and the opening door can be relevant. You handle an object covered in sacred writing, move its parts, and an entrance opens. Symbolically, this suggests gaining access through your own engagement with knowledge. The beautiful black dog then approaches from beyond that entrance. This fits your association with Anubis and can express the theme of guidance as you approach unfamiliar mysteries.

The candlelight allows you to see within the darkness, while the mist leaves part of the surroundings concealed. I would connect this with understanding that is still developing. The veil and the presence of other people place you within a ceremonial setting, participating in a shared religious practice.

In the ritual dreams, that participation becomes explicit: you begin performing the rite yourself. This could express your wish to become more involved in these practices.

Across these dreams, I see an interest in approaching Anubis and understanding His mysteries. If that reflects an existing devotion or an unexpected sense of connection depends especially on what preceded the first dream and how you experienced His presence. I would, however, suggest that you continue exploring this possible connection with Lord Anubis through meditation, and stay open to any signs that may come.
