See i feel obligated to make this post, because I've recently seen a lot of people go and say 'fuck video games it's evil or trash' and try to cherry to pick a lot of flaws and problems to validate it, but most of the time the problem is that these people simply can't control their impulsiveness or manage time properly so naturally they look to shift the blame else where,
another reason why people go to video games and have problems putting it down is because their life sucks so they find the easiest way to escape reality which is usually video games as everyone has a computer these days and you can pirate games for free, so it's easily accessible, so rather than fix their shit so to say they play games to escape reality and then blame game for being fun and taking away from their lives.
or they're just strait up lazy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and are looking for a excuse valid it.
Wow, games can create a sense of accomplishment and achievement? how evil.
So do you know what a hobby is?
Hobby - noun: an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.
Did you know that videos games besides being an entertainment product and be taken up as a hobby, blew your mind right?
They're a lot of hobbies people do to past time like origami, rock collecting, bird watching and such, it's done to past time, relax, pleasure etc.
Of course video games have things like milestones, collectibles and things to make you play them or in other words incentives.
You do know what this word means right?
Incentive - noun: a thing that motivates or encourages someone to do something.
Video game industry is a business, so they're obviously gonna provide incentives, all business do this to bring in customers and keep customers, this is not rocket science or anything, and i mean if someone buys a game they should be able to have fun in it or else they'd feel like they wasted their money and stop buying such things.
Yes most of the video game industry are owned by Yehuborim, but so is the music industry and many others.
How come you don't make posts saying music is evil and people shouldn't listen to it?
Or tell people not to buy fast food, meat from groceries and other mundane stuff that people depend on and is capitalized on by the Yehuborim?
yes, welcome to reality.
But you obviously won't go saying music is evil right?
because there're some great artists out there that make great works of art.
But guess what, there're great works of art in video games as well, millions of $ can go into a AAA video game you know why?
because it takes a lot of people, which creates a lot of jobs, modern art has degenerated into shit, but in most video games they're stunning works of art, music, and story writing.
and they're a lot of jobs created from making games - voice actors, actors, animators, musicians, composers, programmers, writers etc.
They're a lot of people who great artists, writers, composers etc and they've got to make a living, video game industries are the most likely to hire these talented people.
"And if you wish to be an independent developer be warned that most indie games never see the light of day and many developers see years of work go to waste."
Yes, so do artists and musicians who put their work out there and many other types of entrepreneurial endeavors, again, welcome to reality.
"Video games are a poison and have no redeeming qualities."
Depends on your what you consider or your definition of 'redeeming quality'
a lot of hobbies are tasks that are simply there to relax and past time.
they're obviously a lot of good traits to be had from playing games but again it depends on your definition of 'redeeming quality'.
Your affirmation to make someone bored of games is just plain retarded, the point of a hobby is NOT to be bored,
people who're bored usually spend time doing noting, masturbating excessively, or just end up sitting in front of a TV.
Yes they're obviously bad games just like they're shitty music that push Yehuborim BS etc, this is the reality of things, if you're playing a game that's bad for you then yes, drop it, this should be obvious.
But for the most part your arguments on why games are bad is baseless at best, as like i said before they're many industries the Yehuborim have capitalized on, and for the most part the practices in video games you mentioned are quite common in many other things and are not exclusive to video games.
