A question on Eudaimonia: The End Goal of Zevism

As understand from Iamblichus, the soul's descent through the planetary spheres at birth imprints upon the ochema , chariot of the soul, specific qualities drawn from each god's sphere at the moment of descent or birth. The personal daimon is as I understood,a reflection of the highest state of being or an ascent a soul is capable of with the gifts provided by the gods,
Which I might be wrong,

What is the nature of the relationship between the incarnated soul and this daimon, particularly what is truly meant by "becoming its daimonic double" or the converging with the daimon,in the advanced stages of theurgic ascent.
Is it symbolic language or an actual occurrence

I think it's two questions here
First, is the daimon being the highest expression of what the soul actually is? Or it's own independent being?

And the second would be on the converging what does the "merging" or "becoming" actually consist of in practice? — a kind of conforming? — or is there a moment of genuine union and a new being is birthed from it ?
