Many people just *assume* things about the dedication ritual which are not mentioned at the dedication page. I keep seeing that very often lately and yoou just did that. Where does it say in the dedication page that you need to have it memorized?What it says is:

"Write the following prayer:

Sign your name in blood.

Recite the prayer either aloud or in your head

Fold the paper and let it burn in the fire of the candle. Many of us have stayed and meditated until the candle had burned itself out.

I thought it meant I had to memorize it and say it either out loud (from memory) or in my head (from memory) I thought the only point to writing down the words was to have something to sign... I just wanted to do it right...

Hey, it's all good. If you want to memorize it, go ahead, but you
certainly do not have to.
