A quick question, hope it doesn't sound dumb. Why are we not to call upon Lilth? From before the time of dedication she has always been my patron Goddess upon who I call, sometimes with no ritual. I have always felt positive energy when I did this so reading that on JoS confused me a bit and got me curious.
Since my first post a few days ago I have learned something of great importance to me personally that I would like to share. The night of my dedication I was reading your site and the name Asmodeus stuck in my mind. I read and read, researched the internet and downloaded his sigil to my laptop and made it my background. Each time I open my laptop I see his sigil and it seemed familiar, yet I didn't remember. Today I read online that in addition to his other duties he is also known as the protector of homesexual males. Ever get hit with a thunderbolt? I did. I lost my memory years ago and suddenly I knew who Asmodeus was! Before I was nearly killed I had a brief affair with a "Satanist". I think he was false because one night he told me he was "cursed" with this demon when he was first brought into Satanism. He said there was a blood ritual and that this homosexual demon, Asmodeus, was given to him and he didn't want him anymore. I asked if I could have him and my then boyfriend said gladly. I remember saying Asmodeus over and over trying to remember his name and feeling nothing but peace and warmth. I was told he was an ugly little troll but it didn't matter to me. Shortly after this is when I was nearly killed and lost my memory. when I realized it, even now, I cried. Asmodeus is none of those things. He speaks to me as a friend. He asked me why I should tell others this. I don't know why, only that I do. My friend is returned to me and now I have new peace and strength. I want to know more but he only told me that all things in due time, there is a reason for everything. All of it doesn't make sense yet, but I know it will in time.
