Brothers and sisters,
For years, we have spoken of bringing the Gods back into the light of day, so that They may be known and honored as They deserve. Through the Golden Book of Zeus, High Priest Zevios Metathronos has given Zevism a permanent foundation for what we teach and how we worship. Those who lead the Temple after us will look to this same Book for guidance. So will someone who has only just begun to ask what it means to be a Zevist.
Those who discover the Temple years from now will have the Golden Book from their very first day as Zevists. Perhaps it will seem natural to them to find it there, as part of the Temple’s life. What will be an inheritance for them is an achievement we are witnessing firsthand. We remember what it was like to hope for something of this magnitude, and we have the honor of being here to thank the Man who brought it into the world.
I think especially of our brothers and sisters who have spent years studying, practicing, and contributing to the Temple. You remember what you hoped for when you first found Zevism. You kept doing your part even when the prospect of seeing the Gods openly honored seemed distant. I’m happy for everyone who held on to that hope for so long, and I’m glad we get to share this moment with those who have only recently found their home among us.
If you’ve only had a chance to glance at the announcement, I invite you to return to our High Priest’s words. Think of the next person who comes to you with a question about the Gods. You’ll be able to open the Golden Book of Zeus and find the answer there. It’s one reason I believe this is among the greatest moments in the history of Zevism.
High Priest Zevios Metathronos, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the Golden Book of Zeus and for the devotion you have shown to the Gods and to the Temple. I am proud to be a Zevist, and it is an honor to be here with my brothers and sisters to celebrate what you have accomplished.
How are you all feeling about this achievement for Zevism?
Glory to Zeus! 🖤
