Meditate.
Sadness is a normal human emotion, it will pass and another will come and so on. But you should meditate regardless of how you feel. And in time, you’ll feel better.
You're totally right. Ignoring sadness is like trying to hide a fire under a rug—eventually, it’s going to burn everything down. You don't "fix" sadness by ignoring it; you fix it by processing it.
Here’s how you should handle those heavy moments:
1. Mindful Acceptance (The first step)
Don't try to fake peace if you aren't feeling it. Just sit with the emotion. Acknowledge it: "This is sadness." Name it. By doing that, you stop being a victim of the feeling and become the observer instead.
2. Get that dense energy out
Stagnant energy needs to move. Don't let it sit in your head.
Journaling: Write everything down, no filter. Why are you sad? What hurts?
Art or Catharsis: If writing isn't cutting it, draw, paint, or do something physically intense. The goal is to get that heavy energy out of your system.
3. Use your spiritual toolkit
Once you’ve actually named and recognized the emotion (this is crucial before you even try to meditate), lean on the pillars of the Zevist path:
Connect with your GD: Stay in touch with your Guardian Deity. You don't always have to ask for immediate fixes; sometimes you just need to be heard and held.
Yoga & Pranayama: Your body stores trauma and sadness. Doing yoga or pranayama helps move that physical energy that your mind can't process on its own.
4. Keep evolvingStudy, read the Temple of Zeus, and if you can, help someone else. Helping others and learning shifts the focus away from your own pain and reminds you that you're part of something bigger.
Also, let's think about what is the source of this sadness and how you can remove this from your life. The meditation above will help to get over it, digest it, and such, but you need to also stop it from the roots.
You can vibrate Sananda. Visualize yourself surrounded by golden light energy, as if you are standing in front of the Sun. Feel the warmth and the intensity of this light.
For the bad thoughts, vibrate (either out loud or mentally) the mantra Sananda. It means joy, it will help. Any time you start to think badly about yourself, focus on that mantra. In the shower, while walking, before going to sleep. Also state firmly to yourself that you are healing and becoming better and worthy of thinking happy thoughts about yourself

Sadness comes from the inside, a part if your mind that is emotional. I guess it's the Emotional Body that you can heal with HPs Lydia's Meditation.
On the practical side, fight sadness in you by finding the reasons of that. Self-dialogue may help. Sensitive people may be put down by interaction with others, in case they are demeaned or mistreated. Finding how to uplift your inner "part" will boost happiness. Like being given importance, well treated, or liked by others. Slowly you may learn to like yourself and be happier for this. Most people are sad because they dislike themselves, wrongly.
Otherwise sadness may become persistent and get worst. Preventing means less healing needed in the future.
