My chart should indicate my early life and family life was horrendous and even sexual abuse but for me all the positive manifestations came out instead and any bad stuff was very very mild, and I "lucked out" on anyways. I always felt as though I had a "guardian angel" growing up who was a female when I was a xian.

It could be that your Goddess protected you from these negative aspects, yes. Also, sometimes negative astrological aspects do not turn out badly if they are properly sublimated into positive things. For example, someone could have a very intense Mars placement, but instead of that manifesting into anger issues, they sublimate it and get really good at working out or exercising.
