“Happiness” is a state of mind. It can be achieved through understanding things and controlling oneself. Very often “happiness” is achieved by beating “adversity” in one's life.

Full happiness is unstoppable.
You can acquire it through meditation; a state of pleasure that lasts for a long time, but genuine, full happiness does not.
You achieve it, and then go on to fulfill another desire or goal. It's an endless cycle of suffering and boredom, but also the desire to reduce the distress of being stuck.
You can also try to feel satisfaction in the simple things in life - this is achieved with the right state of mind; even so, it is interdependent on the natural experience you feel.
About the "happiness" of the pineal gland. that's just pleasure

Happiness is primarily your inner state, your worldview in real time (every second), which is fueled by external factors such as family, wife, husband, children, holidays, achievements, life victories, success in some business, joyful surprises, etc.
If you have chaos in your head and in your soul, or you are afraid, experiencing constant nervousness, stress, anxiety, then no matter what external benefits you possess, they will not bring you happiness just because you do not feel peace and joy in your soul (inside yourself).
The outer world is a born of the inner world, the outer world is a reflection of the inner world.
Working with your chakras will help you achieve inner harmony so that you can manifest this harmony in the outside world.

Happyness like everthing else is part of a duality. Think about it, you may find answers.
