Can this particular day be used to freeing oneself from addiction? I know that freeing the soul refers to freeing from the xian influence, but can it also help from freeing from addiction?
I really need to free myself from the addiction in THIS month and I didn't found any better date for this in calendar.

"Freeing the Soul" refers to removing hangups and traumas of any kind, so yes it should work for getting rid of addiction.

For freeing the soul you can use Munka, Visuddhi, or Wunjo.

Also at one point I think I read that working on the crown chakra helps in freeing yourself from addictions. If you feel like it you can add some MAUM vibrations into your crown every day, as a seperate little thingy.

Is there a topic around about Munka? I wanted to learn more about it generally, but unless I just glossed over it altogether I wasn't able to find it on the Rune page or in posts here, beyond mentioning/suggesting it.

Also I wanted to confirm that the Crown Chakra can indeed be useful for combating addictions. HPS Maxine said something to that effect on the page for it, resulting from its very blissful and mentally pleasing effects. It makes sense that it plays a key role in the "Beautiful Meditation from Satan", which is also said to be effective in healing addiction.

A bit. Nauthiz rune might be perfect if you are struggling to stop smoking. Some other addictions might need some extra work.
