Consent is important. Humanity has gone centuries lacking basic human rights, with very little self-power. Consent gives some of this power back to the individual, and holds a standard to not allow Izfet to decay society. Zevism stands for self power, not against.

Indeed, it is remarkably amusing to me that you say "if one associates with lowlifes, one will be negatively impacted. One should always maintain strong boundaries with those whom they connect with". Your second sentence contradicts the first. I do maintain strong boundaries, with everybody. This is precisely why I am able to associate with drug addicts and other manner of lowlife without negative impact. What is the point of strong boundaries if you don't push them to the limits? Why meticulously craft an aop if all you will do is sit on your fifth point and eat dorito all day?

This is not contradictory. There is always a cost to the association because it is an energetic bond. You acknowledged here that you create a strong boundary, spiritual or physical. For it to block all negative impacts of others, especially the severely troubled, requires lots of energy, hence HPS's warning.
