I am at such an impasse as I thought of Trump at his first year as being more than 50% good. Following operation warpspeed, his praise of Bill Gates on vaccines, support to Pissrael & Middle Eastern wars, drones in Mexico, war in Venezuela, the Ukraine war money laundering operation, biometrics at USA airports, Trumplargo (reconstruction of Palestine), past martial law (police-state terrorism) and $500 billion AI investment I am left with only distrust in this man. Not to mention the assertions that he's on the Epstein list.
He's done far better than Biden in countless ways. Still, largest debt in US history... to some extent inherited, yes, yet I still question. He also wants Greenland.
More good than 50%? I am certain not based upon his moral actions. He does not deserve a peace prize. Trump: "There will be no more wars" - later funds and starts wars. Our greatest hope rests in the human collective more than it does in any Government. At least at present anyway.
I am very happy for you to mention about Greenland. This is one of the most interesting topics.
Greenland is a very important strategic location that is needed for America. Because Trump is working on creating the "Golden Dome" system of missile defense which will basically be the same as the israeli Iron Dome, except enormously large to cover all of North America. For this to be successfully implemented, we will need to put some of these missile sites in northern Canada in the Arctic. And it would also be enormously more effective by covering an enormously larger area if we also put some of these sites in Greenland. A Greenland being part of it would provide enormously increased warning time and improved defensive ability before the attack gets to Canada or America. This would protect this entire north atlantic region from an attack from Russia in this direction. The difference in the warning time and the area of coverage would be amplified enormously by includling Greenland, so this would be important for our defense.
At the same time, we already do have an American nuclear missile site in Greenland which is from the Cold War. This was very recently declassified. This nuclear missile silo has not been decommissioned and the nuclear missiles are still in there, but it has been buried under like 30 or 50 feet of ice since then. With the ice now melting, this will be uncovered and we will have to go there to secure this location and not let anybody else take control of this. This may be the most urgent reason. We can not allow China or Russia to take control of this nuclear missile and use it against us, because it would be able to reach us. This is basically the half way point between the major eastern American major cities, and the western Russian major cities and could reach either one.
Greenland is also the old site of one of the most major shipping lanes between America and Europe. I believe this was called the Northern Passage, something like that. Now Greenland has all been covered with a thick layer of ice, but if you look at the old maps of Greenland from the 1800s and early 1900s, they show an enormously large water pathway going right through the middle of Greenland, and this is where this major north atlantic shipping route went through. At the time, this was the largest and most important route between America and Europe, and its importance can be compared to the same kind of level of the Straight of Hormuz or the Panama Canal. And with the ice continuing to melt, this shipping lane will be reopened and will be used again. And especially if the plans work for America to grow our manufacturing industries and start selling a lot more American made products to Europe, this route will be one of the most important in the world. We can not allow China or Russia to take control of this trade route.
Just as Biden was going to give control of the Panama Canal to Panama. Which was built by (accounting for inflation) something like 4 Trillion dollars of American money and the lives of more than 100,000 American workers to build this canal. With the deal that we are partners with Panama and we will help them in some ways, we will share the money with them. But America is in control. Biden gave all control back to Panama, and didn't even sell it to them just gave it away.
Which would not have been a problem if Panama was in control, but the problem is the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative. Which is the program where China builds infrastructure like highways, bridges, and dams in all of these countries in Africa and South America, but in return, China owns some of their land and has some control over them. Most importantly, these countries are required to allow China to use them as staging points for their weapons like tanks and rockets. It is a very smart plan, in this way China has only worked to place all of their pieces around the board by putting their weapons in place all over Earth, and at the same time all of these highways and bridges are how they will be moving their trucks, tanks, equipement, and missiles when there is a war. These countries thought that they were being helped, but this was really one of the greatest military strategies in history.
Anyway, Panama is one of the countries that China has invested in in this way. And because of this, they owe China. They have to let them do whatever they want. Which would mean that China would take ownership and control of the Panama canal, and be able to shut off most of the shipping to and from America that goes through here. Along with everyone else in the world who uses this.
Trump took back the Panama Canal. He is working on taking the Straight of Hormuz. And he will take the Northern Passage in Greenland. So all of the world's most major shipping routes are under American control.
After all, the largest point of America's treaties and deals with most of the countries on Earth is that we promise to use the American Navy to protect global shipping routes. The protection of our Navy is maybe the largest product that we sell to all of these countries. So having the major shipping lanes under American control and protection is extremely important.
The last thing which is not the least important is the oil in Greenland. They recently found the world's largest pocket of oil under Greenland, which is something like more than every other country put together. So America can do the same thing with Greenland that we have done decades ago in Venezuela. We will make an agreement with them that we will have our companies investing tens of billions of dollars to build all of the infrastructure in Greenland for extracting, refining, processing, and shipping the oil. They will not have to pay for any of this. America will own this oil and we will be the ones selling this, we will be making most of the money because it all exists only because of our infrastructure investments. And for giving us this permission, we will also be giving them a lot of the money for allowing us to do this. There are something like 50,000 people in Greenland. Literally every citizen of Greenland can easily be a multimillionaire or billionaire. They will be the workers, they will be making the money, they will have the shares in the companies, they will be even more rich than the middle eastern Oil princes. Much better than selling shark meat and whale fat, or whatever they do. And most of the citizens of Greenland want this and have said that they would prefer this.
Everybody is crying about how colonialism is bad and how America can not take another country like Greenland as a colony. They would be our partners who are profiting enormously. And they literally are a colony of Denmark still today, they are not an independent country.
