Tarot deck and crystals

Does anyone know how to go about cleansing a tarot deck and crystals. I was given a deck I believe was used and crystals and wanted to properly cleanse them.

Cleansing a tarot deck is easy; just imagine it surrounded with white-gold light, and if you like you can make an affirmation that it is now clean and purified.
Crystals can be both charged with energy and cleaned by direct sunlight. Hard crystal like quartz can be cleaned by running water, but be aware that some crystal can be damaged by water.

Some crystals are not to be cleaned in sunlight, as the sunlight damages the crystal. For example, rose quartz is incompatible. The moonlight is a better option for others, or engulfing in the aforementioned white-golden energy. I read somewhere that crystals below around 4 on the Mohs scale are water soluble. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohs_scale Oftentimes, raw crystals are a collection of minerals and crystals, with varying hardness, and while one particular crystal might be hard enough, the others not, so it is advisable to practice caution when cleaning with water.
