In this post I will explain the top 5 most discussed global news of the last 24 hours. (11/25/2025)
For the news I will consider both official channels (tv channels and newspapers) and internet channels (social medias).
The first news is about Donald Trump. There are 2 main news about him.
One is about Venezuela. Indeed in this period there is some tension between United States and Venezuela. Today there are voices and rumors about Trump talking with Nicolás Madur, President of Venezuela, while simultaneously keeping military options on the table. This is what creates confusion on global events, will Trump attack Venezuela or not?
On one hand, the idea that a US President might talk directly to Maduro is unusual. But, since Trump was the first US President to talk with the North Korean President, Trump could probably talk with Maduro. On the other hand, talking of military action raises fears of escalation. Also, some people consider Venezuela one of few countries whose central bank is not under the Rothschilds, someone considers this one main reason for an attack.
The other news about Donald Trump is an hypothetical scandal about him and Bill Clinton. Internet is already full of memes about this, also official channels are talking about this. The news is about an "affair" between them. It is probably an attack to the image of Donald Trump.
The second news is related the "transparency" of X.
Quite a paradox, since transparency in this case is not friendly to the users. X now shows extra profile metadata, as the country an account appears to be posting from. This change exposes many accounts engaging in political conversations, which led people to shout foreign interference and to post long lists of supposedly “fake” or foreign accounts.
But fortunately, this returned to the senders, since it appears that the location of the Department of Homeland Security X account is in Tel Aviv. Not a surprise for who is informed, it is an incredible discovery for everyone else. So, it is now debated on X and other Social Platforms by a lot of people of various political factions.
The third news pertains to Gaza.
Unfortunately, the massacre of women and children in Gaza is a main news everyday. This tragic event is reported with a lot of images on Social Medias, since official channels often ignores the situation. More and more people are looking at what really Israel is. Supplies, shelter and medical aid are insufficient and agencies warn winter weather will make things worse.
On top of that, X platform metadata and viral threads led some people to claim that many accounts reporting about Gaza were not actually located where they said they were. That produced a second wave of attention, indeed people argued about whether eyewitness posts were genuine or coordinated disinformation. Eventually, who promoted this disinformation? Are they increasing or decreasing the numbers of victims?
The fourth news is relevant to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Fightings in Ukraine continue in several regions, there are regular reports of attacks and damage to infrastructure. Periodically, new diplomatic or peace proposals appear and cause big online conversations. When fighting intensifies, social platforms flood with frontline videos, casualty claims and political commentary. Internet is divided between who sustains Russia and who sustains Ukraine. Only few understand that the leaders of these two nations are both jewish.
Also, what most people fear is an hypothetical escalation all over Europe, considering also the military conscription Germany is considering.
The fifth and final news for today follows what happened at UN climate talks (COP30) in Belém, Brazil.
A fire broke out inside part of the conference venue. Organizers and local fire crews evacuated people and later said the blaze was controlled. Several people were treated for smoke inhalation. The fire disrupted meetings that were already struggling to reach agreement on big climate issues like fossil fuels and climate finance.
Obviously, the question is if this fire was provoked by someone or not. If yes, was it to raise awareness about climate change? Or about a terrorist attack?
Thank you for reading the main news of today.
