So, I don't want to comment on the previous part of this discussion, just chiming in on this reply.

I realize how it might seem like what you're saying - that our recent transformation comes at a cost of authenticity and with the aim to accommodate the expansion efforts and the position of newcomers but actually it is the exact opposite. This aspect of our spectrum of existence that is being emphasized is only adding to our authenticity because it is who we really are. No one is acting or pretending especially not to gain numbers because those that belong in our fold will end up here regardless of details and circumstances.

I care very little for labels and appearances but still hold some emotional ties to being a satanist (in spite of all the unfortunate associations that it brings in the minds of the ignorant public), addressing our Father as Satan because of all the beautiful and strong realities like the all important Truth that it entails. At the same time it is important to acknowledge what our growth brings. Very simple yet simultaneously complex and nuanced. For me it all comes down to the eternal truth that is reality, more of which gets revealed to us along the way.

I sincerely wish that your inner conflict on this matter is soon resolved (and it surely will) so that it doesn't produce adversity and form impediments on your path, as well as for anyone who's still digesting these questions.

My apologies in advance if this post comes across as overly self centered. For me if this place was not being previously associated with national socialism, I most likely wouldn't have been so open to it. So I understand fully what Mercury's issue is, and why he responded the way he did.
Thankfully this didn't completely spiral out of control, and was clarified properly, which relieves me.
