Idolizing The Gods: Becoming Like Them

At this point is unimaginable to me how can someone just claim faith in a God so passively like most do.
I'm not a paragon of virtue yet, but at least I try. I walk on the Path, and often falter. But I keep trying.
Most people just say they believe in X or Y and it affects almost nothing of their life.
They probably don't even think about their faith on a daily basis.
It's just secondary.
While it should be a lifestyle.

I was impressed by his infinite wisdom, confidence and the authority he represented. And the lightnings.

But someone always came to disparage him in some way. But those times will be gone forever.
