When temptation comes...

Zeus said: "When temptation comes i give my covenant to him that trust in me." Does this mean if I believe in Zeus that He will help me? Can someone explain what does this sentence mean?
You just answered yourself
He had also said those that have no faith is that of the selfish
So one should not be selfish and be rest assured it shall work out for it's best
He also does want slavish worship
You must have that passion

This might be a typo from you. Zeus and His Patheon do not care for slavish worship.

I'll use the following example to explain my view on this quote you provided.

If I am a trainer and I see someone come into my gym ready to learn and change their life in a positive way, as long as they dedicate themselves to the training and resist the temptation to give up, as well as resist letting their body go thru entropy because their perception is that work is too hard, then they'll see the benefits of staying dedicated to the training and to the trainer working hard to help them.

The above is impossible for those who either just say they believe in the work but don't actually do it or at best half ass their attention towards the Gods and from there Their teachings because the limit of the seriousness they perceive their loyalty and practices goes as far as the limit of how serious they take the source it comes from.

Be humble and honest not just towards Them but also towards yourself in your approach to the Gods and do your honest hard work to meet them and you can be rest assured they'll do their best to meet you more than half-way.
