It’s common for Padre Alexandros to insult people.
I’ve seen him do it several times, but it doesn't bother me. In a growing church, effectiveness is far more important than humility.

Quite frankly, it is not possible given all my years of interaction in this community. If it was, they would be a person of rank themselves, but as it stands, this is far from the reality.

And it should be noted that the whole episode was based on a language barrier issue. You would know this if you were paying attention. And you would not disagree with the above either if you were honest. Who are you anyhow?

I talked about telegony and got grilled for it even though its real and there were a lot of bad faith arguments presented.

Genuinely if this is about helping people grow and coming closer to the gods I would think the individuals here wouldn't be so quick to jump down others throats. This is in many parts why people flock to christanity though I dont like that religion either when a mormon comes up to u its all fluffy god loves u etc and he doesnt try to bow beat it into u. At least in my experiences.

Ill stay here since there seems to be nuggets of info that would be quite valuable but I dont see myself becoming somebody whose entire life revolves around this server.

Recently, a dispute erupted on the Vultus Templorum platform among our brothers and sisters regarding the cursing of trolls who, it is claimed, have caused real harm to our temple. Personally, I ignored these trolls, since they did not harm me, and expressed the opinion that these fools do not deserve our attention. My words were met with hostility, and I was bombarded with a barrage of criticism, mostly for weakness or for supposedly having a Christian mindset, even though I have been a pagan since childhood and have never shown mercy to the Abrahamic faiths in real life. That evening, I merely suggested that these trolls don’t deserve our attention, and then they started trolling me, even though I didn’t insult anyone in response and presented my arguments, which I never insisted on. The Temple teaches ethics, but it seems that Priest @P.alexandrosiown’s ethics consist of trolling me and insisting that I inspire people with my opinions. I don’t know what’s wrong with you; I’ve always called you my brothers and sisters, including in real life, because I spent most of my time serving the Gods in real life, not on the Internet. To be honest, I am shocked and offended by the community’s dismissive attitude toward me, and I am not going to tolerate insults, whether from a priest or anyone else. And just between us, you have hurt me far more than this troll could ever have affected me.

You have to understand that people just like you come with ill intentions to present "criticism" all the time. So please excuse us when you, someone who engages in the community almost not one bit, is seen as someone suspicious. Especially when you present such arguments which clearly show that you have no idea what you are talking about, and make comments about regural members somehow potentially being at the level of advanced people with a long list of merits. These people are not up there just because, the whole system is based on merit. More specifically, with the emphasis on intellectual and spiritual merit.

Anyway, community engagement is the cure. Can you do that?

However, if this is not the case. I will just state that please engage in the community, take part in various projects, and do group rituals. Study the sites, and read the sermons, etc. That is how things open up. Not by presenting superficial criticism and avoiding the community affairs. And yes, the community is not perfect, how could it be, we are humans, after all. If you want to avoid participation because of a disagreement, it is your loss, because whatever the case might be with feeling alienated, participation is still a net positive effect.

thats fair i can see why u would be suspicious it was just a bit off putting since the telegony stuff had nothing to do with spirituality and mostly observable non metaphysical ideas/observations.

Ill be sticking around i probably wont participate all that much tbh though because i really dont know anything about the more esoteric concepts related to our reality. I have much more reading to do before i could fathom giving advice. On topics related to science like the above and the reactions i got for something i had vested time into would be like someone coming here and saying all yr pantheons and beliefs are wrong. If that happens yr probably not going to want to listen to the other person...im not saying thats the case but i hope the parallels make sense.

My friend, ur just another example of inattention and subjectivity, please read my other posts and you will see that these were not attacks, but just a mistake by the translator that lead me to confuse... in general, it's funny how other people immediately start thinking that this is a mental attack or Christian mind set, if in fact none of this is really true, but this once again shows how much people, even those who call themselves Zevists, can be biased without understanding the situation, so it's worth thinking about it and drawing conclusions that those or there may be a complex of different causes behind other phenomena, rather than some universal evil. I'm not writing this message to justify myself or insult you, but so that you can look at the situation from the other side and to understand that everything is much simpler than how could it be imagined in your eyes. And yet! although! I can appreciate your passion for protecting the temple, but we should not forget that other brothers and sisters who have their own position are the same people close to the Gods, otherwise the Gods would not have brought them to the Temple and would not allow them to become their initiates.
