In islam if you get caught doing magic , or anything witch related , the penalty is your head being cut , but in north africa magic is very common yet even some claim to work with jhin and show their face and dont face opposition the athiest does

Athiests in morocco cant show their faces or tell oppenly they are athiests but people engaging in pagan and satanic rituals can, how ? You just have to claim they are called "Jwad" or jhin, but Jwad sounds better , its adds a layer, its just relabling of paganism so the word does carry with it the same charge, also they add phrases like" we are posessed and sick and if you keep criticising me i hope this happens to you so understand"

This creates a huge block in muslim head that some cant even laugh at the rituals or criticise for the fear of getting posessed or something, some even find it hard to talk about those subjects fearing some spirit will damage their life

Add to that some claim the "Jwad" they have are muslim, which adds a layer to all what i said before and makes the muslim not take this as seriously as an athiest

Islam is extremely brutal. Its fighting against spirituality and knowledge by radical means.
And culture, north africans as an example many muslims here starve and try hard to claim being arab or descendent of an arab "saint"

In Morocco some are very poor yet pay 7000$ for hadj so that they go to saudi arabia and do haj

Being muslim makes you become against yourself too

By the way minimum wage in morocco is 300$ i guess, so 7000$ is big for the ones who get paid that yet many still do the "haj"
