You need to know his face at least and using runes for death spell is not the best idea. I would evoke grey energy, program it and direct it to target

Far more appropriate to seek Runic power for a confrontation and face-to-face combat with an adversary. I do believe in justified vengeance, but this spell-thing seems guaranteed to cause you psychological harm and, frankly, seems cowardly. If you lack the strength to face this individual, then turning to the Runes for help in getting stronger is a good course. If he is gone from your area and cannot be confronted, then spend this time to train and prepare and maybe the Gods will have him cross your path and you can deal with him like an Aryan Noble Warrior. I'm sorry for the pain caused to your loved-one. Deal with this issue in the Solar Light with Honor.

There is white magick, and then there is black magick. It is not really up for debate unless you want to challenge the whole underlying reality we are part of (creation/destruction, in other words, duality).
