Hi,
If I'm reincarnated, my soul lives in another body. Will I still have my current thoughts, or will my thoughts only be in my body? If my soul eventually enters Elysium, will I still be me? So, will I be aware when "I" am in Elysium?

Hello,

Its easy to answer, do you remember your past lifes? No. But with certain practices you can find out what they were.
In our religion Elysium isn't our final destination, our final destination is to become Gods, your soul goes to Elysium or Hades (if you are dedicated) when you die and havent reached Godhead yet, you stay there for a while (with your your current consciousness and identity) and then you are getting reincarnated. When you are reincarnated you have amnesia, you dont remember who you were etc. (as I said before you can find out who you were) but certain things are written in your soul like your race, personality traits and if you were a powerful mage it will be easier to wake up your old powers inside you, also in your next life you will be guided towards Zevism.

Reincarnation is the wheel that we are supposed to break. Because reincarnation brings with it the forgetfulness. Imagine all the lessons you learned throughput an entire lifetime gone. You start all over from scratch. Now the question of whether you will have the same thoughts its pretty much you the way you are just without memories. All the talents you trained and learned on this life carries over to the next. For example if you worked hard on mathematics on this life then on the next lifetime it will be easier for you to re learn them. This is how sometimes people seem to be born gifted, like a child is suddenly good at math or music or chess or just about any talent while other people find it hard to learn them. We call this raw talent today but the truth is you put in the work in your past life. All progress including spiritual is carried on. Lazy people who didn't try their best and try to cheat their way out will complain again next life how they are not born a genius or talented but they never put any effort in the thousands of years and many lifetimes. So worry not about whether youll be the same because you will always be you, focus on building yourself. Living a healthy lifestyle now means youll be born with a healthy body next life. Same as all the struggles you surpass today will become reflex to you on the next life. Keep moving forward and if you work hard enough then you might unlock certain magical abilities that makes remembering your past life possible and all the lessons that come with them.

The way I would put it is that the soul has memory and the body has memory. Technically I would think all of the memory made in the body gets stored somewhere in the soul, but when you are in a physical body it is hard to tap into the souls memory freely. You have to kind of change your vibrational frequency (your soul's consciousness or state) and shift your awareness to allow you to escape the physical, lower vibrational density realm and to tap into higher things. The soul's existence and the physical existence occur simultaneously, but it seems like we get distracted (and forget) and so when we are in a physical body a lot of our energy and focus goes towards that aspect of our existence and we lose awareness of our ethereal presence.

To really connect with your higher, truthful self takes a lot of work. Energy pathways have to be learned, fixed and established to do it reliably. I kind of see the soul (right now at this time in my life) as sort of like a complex electrical circuit, maybe even a CPU would be a good comparison if you are familiar with computers.

I technically want to think that nothing is really permanently forgotten. They call this the Akashic record, but our relationship to it I cannot completely explain for I do not understand it well enough at this time.

Like others said, from what we understand and believe, your soul reincarnates with propensities to do certain things. Energy pathways that were established by experiences, will not be completely forgotten. Some things you will react more strongly to because your soul in a way remembers them. Whether it's people, or subject matters, or geographic locations, or anything else. It's a beautiful thing.

I don't know if your memories from this life stay with you when you depart - I'd say they do for some time at least, you at least get to reflect on them, even if they are fleeting and fading or being taken away somehow. Your soul will know you are in the afterlife though. Just like you have a mind, your soul does too but it's not separate like in a physical body. The soul can sense energy/data and interpret it. It has intelligence.
