That paragraph is one of the densest statements of Zevist theology High Priest Zevios Metathronos has committed to the Traditional page. It reads like a diagnosis: four contrasts stacked on top of each other, blind obedience against inquiry, diminishment against growth, slavery against kinship, withholding against offering. Each line names what Zevism rejects and what it stands for, and the Clergy has built whole vocabularies around each of those four pairs.

A system that needs you small will demand obedience, suppress inquiry, withhold knowledge, and call that faith. The Zevist vocabulary around Zeus is built around the second, which is why High Priest Zevios Metathronos's paragraph reads less like a slogan and more like a definition of what kind of God is being talked about. He teaches us spiritual knowledge to advance and become Gods in our own right."
