Your progress matters no matter how much or how little you have made. All progress is important.
You are growing your tree right now, and it will go through it's seasons. And after time, it will start to grow it's fruits.
Even if your tree has gone through a long period of winter, so has everyone else in their lives. Even if it looks barren or seems hopeless, the sun of springtime will come with it's blessings and life will grow once again. But it will take patience and perseverance.
After a while you will see things fall into place, hope will start to blossom, as flowers in a sunny field.
Your soul will start to heal from it's long rain, and storms will clear away. And once again you will be able to finally embrace the sunshine, The Satanic light within. The healing process may be long and tedious, but it's rewards are a truer bliss than anything you've experienced until now.
You can look back at the road you've left behind you, knowing what hills you had to climb over to be where you are now, and smile knowing you did this, and you made the choice to follow this path.
Then you can celebrate not only who you've become now, and what you've accomplished, but who you fought against. who you healed, who you could have been but made the choice not to be.
