In the JOS site, it says that the popular yoga teachings are wrong, but
we can use their psychial techniques for our own, does that include
yoga breathing excercises? Am I allowed to perform yoga breathing
techniques, while not detering from power.

The concepts like love-all, abstinence, self sacrifice for the higher
good are rubbish and new age. This totally deprives us of advancing
and transforming ourselves.

The actual physical techniques and/or breathing are correct.
