As I understand it, orthodox Yehuborim believe their racial Influence of Yehubor comes via the mother, the source of almost all mitochondrial DNA.
Nevertheless, although according to the orthodox one is a Yehubor only if one's mother is a Yehubor, I'd think that in reality, according to DNA & probably other genetic markers (I'm not a genetic expert) that the offspring of a Yehuborim sire is half racially Yehuborim. However, the difference (according to them) is that if the mother is Yehuborim then the child is considered to be completely Yehuborim, regardless of the father's race.

someone told me that a person isnt Yehuborim unless the mother is. And i told them that either way they are still Yehuborim because of the dna. Is that correct?
