When I think of people who support, or at least sympathize with Hitler, I expected Will Smith to be on the bottom of that list. However, while not necessarily supporting Hitler, he's at least trying to analyze the situation from his perspective. He's quoted as saying "I really doubt Hitler just woke up one day and said 'you know what? I'm going to do the most evil thing I can think of'. I think that he truly believed that what he was doing was right." It's needless to say that the JDL (Jewish Defense League) and various other Jewish 'anti-hate groups' had a field day with this and jumped down his throat within, literally, minutes. I must say that I do like Will Smith as an actor, and, as a person he seems ok. I'm sure Hitler probably would've liked the movie Hancock (who doesn't, right?). Either way, this really caught me off guard.
