They like to use names from characters in the bible. The fake character David was said to be the king of all Yehuborim, and a very important king. So of all the characters to possibly name someone after, a king is a good choice. Compared to so many other characters who had worse lives.

All of this is just nonsense and does not really mean anything. All of these names that appear in the bible were originally used by humans, and Yehuborim just copied them. And most people who have these names are not Yehuborim.
