Mosaics from Pompeii show men with skin darker than women.

Because Men are quite literally Darker than women across all races, which is why women are called the Fairer Sex.

Men are normally darker than the women. This is true for every race. There are more pale looking women than men. Nature.

I think the poster is referring to stuff like this for example

Not from pompei but I think OP is referring to the same kind of thing

I actually wondered about that too for a bit and was like yhis for real cant be a mixed race relationship. But I guess maybe it is referring to the fact that women are paler skin.

Oooooh I never knew that was the case. It makes a lot of sense what I heard from female friends and past gfs saying that their brothers get better tans and or tan overall and they can't.

Women have thinner skin than men, which results oftentimes in lighter skin color. This is the case for all races as other stated. Men have thicker skin, and can be darker. The hue of hair can also contribute to this.

Even in the Nordic Race this is the case, women will always be more fair.

I also notice that with the Nordic race with blonde hair the men always have darker blonde hair than the women. The women will have lighter hue of blonde hair color.

It has to do with testosteron. That's also why males have a darker hair than females. Men's hair starts to get darker rabidly once they hit puberty.

Sometiimes, like in Egypt, choice of colour has to do with alchemy. Sometimes it's xtard archeologist painting over them. Other times it's just a natural difference in skin colour.

As i remember it had to do with energies and alchemy, that's all i remember from what i read some time ago on forum.
