Who are All the Demons and How Do Ranks Work?

Under 'The Pantheon of Hell' it appears the Demons are listed in a hierarchy. A Pantheon from what I read means: man's interpretation of the rankings of Gods based on their own.
Does this mean that some Demons (i.e Presidents/Kings/Dukes/Princes) govern over those of a lower rank (Marquesses/Earls), or does it mean they have different roles?

Very deep question. If there isn't an absolute answer known yet no worries! I take it there are things beyond mortal understanding.


Another question - Does anyone have a rough idea as to how many Demons there are beyond the 72 goetic Demons? I think these 72 are listed in the A-Z (Gods of Elysium) and in the High Ranking Demons lists, but I haven't counted each one. Satan (I don't think) is included in the goetia.

There are so many Demons! It's truly amazing. I was so happy when I saw Pazuzu in the link 'More Gods'.

I'm interested in learning about Satanism more to better shape what sets the JoS against the very many sects of Satanism.

Nowadays it seems like Satanism is treated like gender - it could be anything you want it to be. There's some weird hybridized shit out there...

I'm grateful to the JoS for building a foundation of truth on what it truly is. Thank you HPs and thank you Satanic family.

I do believe it is a bit of both. It also appears to be like a chain of command with the Crowned Princes and ultimately Satan being at the very top. I do believe the names of their ranks given to them are the human labels that can best describe them. However one or two Gods I believe, Andras being one, have no human equivalent to their rank. The names of the ranks are to help us best relate.

Aside from the Demons that are in the "more Gods section." there are honestly thousands more. Some of these are friendly to humanity and others are not, and not all of either of these are known to us or on JoS.

Is it due to Humanities current position in how we are basically a pathetic spiritual species and they view us in a dark way.

For example it's been mentioned Saurathra(Sorath) isn't liking of everyone so he might dislike you but probably has to work with said person because he got ordered to do it.

But these Ayylmaos I assume either they dislike our total lack of spiritual progress or are they disliking of us because their species hates us but don't do anything bad to us because they are with Satan.

Think Star Wars or FancyMancy's Star Trek obsession. Star Wars cantina bar scene: You see an Ayylmao(Skywalker) and go the guy goes "I don't like you. Neither does my alien friend here". Before Hamil pulls out his lightsaber and chops the blue alien's arm off.
