Sounds like your going well and set on the correct path.It's good to know that you know where your limits are, that you know it is to early to summon a Demon.Many newbies try to get into it straight away and end up screwing themselves over.If you wish to find a good place to start I have 2 tips.1. In the Hells Army section of ToZ it gives a really excellent 4 or 5 month program from beginner to advance.2. I say it is best to start with the very basics. First if I were you I would master the basic breathing techniques. Have them absolutely perfected. But before moving on, make sure you understand entirely how and why these work. What they are used for. How they can be manipulated. Many people do not like taking their time and would sooner breathe a little bit then assume there ready for the next step. But I think it is wise to begin with one important foundation and have it completely and entirely mastered before moving onto the next, this way you won't have to keep going back and forth to have it correct. After breathing exercises I would practice the trance. As I have said, don't do this a few times and assume your ready. Make sure you have it down perfectly and can fall into a trance at will. After this I would go for void meditation. This is vital for basically any larger working as without it your mind will wonder and you will never achieve what you truly desire. I would then master energy meditation, foundation meditation and any other meditation that will give you a feel for energy, color, directing energy ect. This will all take time but if you are patient and consistent, you will succeed beyond others.
Many people fin choosing one topic and having it mastered completely to be a waste of time, but personally, I find one become hundreds of times more powerful if they put in the hard yards. Power does not come easily. To put it simply, the harder you work, the more powerful you will become. One quote I made is very simple and standard but I live by it. "To be the best you must be the best". Simple but effective.
In addition to the musical side of things, obviously not all metal is Zevist or at least it is stereotypical Zevism, but that does not mean one cannot enjoy or acknowledge it. I love Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Satyr, Satrycon and stuff like that and I find, regardless of it's meaning, to be extremely motivating. Even if it is about Darkness or possession ect I still feel motivated and energized over it. I wouldnt say Zevism is about Darkness, but it is not about Light either. See a true Zevist understands both are vital to everything. A perfect example I use for myself when I think about this is the night sky. If all was dark, we could not possibly see the moon or stars, only Darkness. Yet, if all was light, it would be impossible to find the moon and stars, not to mention the horrible pain our eyes would go through. So, in my oppinion, celebrating and honouring Darkness is great. Its a good and beautiful thing. This goes the same with celebrating Light. Both are equal and vital. As Lord Baal Zebul said "Darkness is Light turned inside out". With all due respect to Kurenaii (A great Zevist might I add, from reading his previous posts I can see he is wise in these areas) but I must say, Zevism is about Darkness, but remember Darkness is not a bad thing. It is also about Light. Also, Zevists appear to be pro-darkness over anything else and have a preference of dark over light. This is true in moderation. See, Xianity is pro-light. Thats all they think of. they assume Light equals good. However, because Zevists are also dedicated to the opposition of Xianity, we oppose them in this also. They use Light, we use both, but we promote Darkness.
Sorry about this large essay like post. I just like to explain something from every single possible angle. I'm an all or nothing person so if I'm going to explain one thing, i'm going to explain it in every possible angle.Anyways my friend, hope this helps.

WELL, "demonic possession" has nothing to do with Zevism, not it is even "demonic", it is angelic. Nor is Zevism about darkness.
