What's the best way to do chakra meditations?

I see on TEMPLE OF ZEUS you're suppose to visualize them as little pyramids and then on one page of the ToZ website it says tornadoes, then I hear spinning wheels or flowers. Terribly confused, help!

You can visualize them a bit differently for different meditations, it's just what would help you best during that meditation.

Inhale deep, then exhale into the chakra, not literally, as your exhaling "push" the energy into that area of the body. You should be able to feel the energy after doing this for a while.

If you take note, a pyramid and a votex or tornado have similar shapes.
The different terms are used to help describe the look of a chakra. When a chakra is spinning, it looks much like a 'vortex' or 'tornado' of light. The term 'pyramid' helps to describe the fact that chakra have a pointed end, and a larger end. This is to show the way in which the energy flows. Into the larger end, out the smaller, like a funnel.

As for the wheel/flower. These are more from a top/birds-eye view. The flower, specifically the Lotus, was often used in ancient civilizations, and still used in India today, to represent the chakras, and the process of awakening them. A good technique of visualising a chakra opening, is to visualise it as a lotus (of that chakra's specific colour) blossoming.
