I got some anti-tracts from a site affiliated with JoS - SatanisTruth or something, on the way back machine. Given that we insist on simplicity and nr of people reached and not on convincing people or bringing them x arguments do you think these are worth spreading? They're 1 page long each and some people don't have patience to read this. It's also money consuming to print all 20+ of them. And given they're not links or QRs, they're letters everyone understands, the first ill-wishing person that sees them can throw them right in the thrash can so that no one else does. A link, meanwhile, can reach 20 people in five minutes, and it's easier to multiply. If 20 people read the page and are convinced, well 20 people can see the link and be convinced, it's just that no one can make the link disappear, and it's faster to paste it everywhere.
1 of the tracts talked about WW2 regime. But most people, upon seeing these words would close it immediately. Now, if instead of a word upholding WW2 regime I give them the link to JoS, maybe there's a higher chance they'll focus, and upon reading all our sites, they'll inevitably face WW2 regime again. But now, after they have built an affinity for the Satanism area, they won't disregard WW2 regime with the same easiness.
Another one listed the names of the black slave traders. But there are almost no Blacks in my country .
Several others answered why there are contradictions in that bible. But xians are almost never open minded enough and atheists and people in-between could simply be directed here by the JoS link, that would anyways catch their attention.
The single + of these pages is that they offer brief explanations, meanwhile the link is straightforward. But isn't this exactly what makes the difference between humans? I suppose, a person that's open enough could keep the site in their mind and google it later , but one that isn't could have all the pages in front of them and disregard them. Thus, I see them as unnecessary .
