For me only void meditation, because you can't control what others think or feel about what you are doing, or who you are. But you can control yourself and how you feel about what they think/feel. If you don't then you'll probably end up "self destructing" in the sense that you'll let them out you down and it'll be worse for you because now you believe what they're saying or whatever. Anyways just be yourself. You'll get used to it.
