What does this mean?

We are "one" means that we are all connected. We are created from prana and have conciousness. But, Bhuddist and Jains (and new agers) take it too far. Instead striving for empowerment to make their lives and everyone better, they just surrender.

Being "all one" and being in a state of "oneness" tend to not overlap as much as it might sound.

Most often, "we are one" really is just a figure of speech to convey "togetherness" or "alliance" or "unity in purpose and desire". It's just an over-dramatized way of saying "we're all part of the same team" for most people. Then again, most people aren't fanatics or obsessive personalities or psychic. So, what someone from one of those categories means when they say "we are one" is usually a different story.

As for "I feel oneness" or "Knowing oneness", that usually is someone's brain imploding on itself. What they're doing is boasting a unique (meaning individualistic) understanding and comprehension of a form of heightened state of consciousness which they believe inhabits all things and all things are inhabited by. They'll preach this crap to you as if they're a guru or something because they need to feel individually important and superior to you somehow, so they claim to be part of or at one with a larger whole. "I am but a cog in the great machine" or "I am but a single leaf on the great tree of reality" or whatever it is, but they always end with some shit like "but in the end, we are all one". The problem with creatures who spew this crap isn't that they have no sense of self-awareness or individuality; it's that they have it and resent it and utterly hate themselves for it. The only thing they hate more than themselves for knowing it is when someone else knows it and is okay with it. They're like any other false prophet. They'll put on a show of enlightenment and false calm, peace, awareness, etc. But once you find the right button to push and show them for the fraud they are, they go into full primate shit-flinging in a heartbeat.

There's nothing wrong with being part of a group or a larger whole. There's nothing wrong with being an individual. There is, however, definitely something wrong with pretending the group or larger whole is indistinguishable from the individuals who make up its composition. That constitutes a pathological ignorance of the fundamental definitions of words. That is not divine. That isn't even human. Sorry, I've had a bad night at work.
