Greetings to all our People and Satanic Family!

These are our New Forums. We hope everyone enjoys their stay, as our forums before have been highly successful. However these forums will be drastically different in that they are new, improved, far more organized, and belong entirely to us.

Our New Forums have a lot of new features, without sacrificing the old familliar design that everyone liked. You may see the forums are a bit different, but essentially, we did our best to recover them as they were before. We have also added some new things such as SSL Encryption to increase the security of our members, and ensured that the forums will never be cluttered again, but also far more easily accessible.

Some examples of the updates:

1. No e-mail verification is needed for anyone to register. E-mail is only used for password retrieval.
2. SSL Encryption and Site Certification, to increase your security within the forum.
3. Far better organization of the Forums in Categories (You will see this exactly the time you login into the Forum).
4. Announcements (Clergy Posts) will be easily accessible through the frontpage of the Forums.
5. After the time of each announcement is due, they will be moved to the JoSNewsletter Forum, and this will make for a perfect user experience for everyone in other forums. Only the current announcements will be staying up, and these will not be past the number where they cause any strife to any reader.
6. Safe and Backed up Data; Anything that happens on the Forum, we will have it saved, and we will be able to, anytime and anyplace retrieve the forum in this or any other provider in it's original state, with the logins and everything intact [This is under construnction].

You said you doubt it's a problem on the forum, but I think it must be a user groups/permissions problem, maybe.

Try now, it should post alright. There was a division between 'registered' members and 'newly registered members', which was prohibiting you from posting.

I think that forum is much more nicer method of communication than Yahoo groups.

Yahoo Groups UI is old, and is painful to use. The forums are a delight to use.

I am very glad we're back, and this new forums look even better than old one. :)

Fancymancy, that is strange. I checked the user permissions and there is nothing that should keep you or anyone else newly registered from posting. I will re-check right now. Others have posted without any problems.

I have a question, since Fancymancy brought it up, are you guys going to do like a probationary period with this site to where newly registered members have to be pre-moderated until a certain post count?

I registered using same old username just in case so anyone doesn't try to steal information acting as me. I'm nowadays incredible busy so don't expect much messages from me before new year.

Nice to see that the forums are running once again.

HP Zevios Metathronos replied saying it was an accident with the edit button & not needing posts approved. He fixed it.

It should be about quality of posts, not quantity. Remember that we had certain members who posted thousands of posts, 90% of which were useless complaints. In my opinion it should stay the same as the previous forum, where people were taken off mod after proving long-term to be useful to the group.

Oooh, so that's how it works..
Is that's also why only your posts -in some random times- appear on yahoo groups? It felt to me like you don't need a mod to approve your posts there. :shock:

I just realized it was SSDF who posted the thing about the admin place, as a suggestion for the clergy. But for us users, resizing our pictures is the way to go!

The limit is difference since the question was first posed to the clergy. With the old restrictions, you wouldn't have been able to put your penguin and Zola wouldn't have been able to put her picture, just like I wasn't able to put any picture until the expanded the limits. The problem was the file size most of all. It was set to 1 kB, which is no picture whatsoever in this age.

Brilliant to have the forum back, no mod would be better if folk over in UK are up and the US aren't lol apart from that i struggled with the avatar hence just a plain old Union Jack :D
