Void Course of Moon

I recently looked up a chart/calendar of when the Moon is in a Void Course. Because sometimes a void course of moon might interfere with your magickal workings.

And really , I couldn't believe that a void moon actually occurs alot.
Also on JoS HP Maxine mentioned that a void moon is not a good time to start several things(like job interviews etc)

So I want to ask , can you do rituals/meditations while the moon is void? And what to really avoid when the moon is void.

I would suspect that no magical workings, rituals-- in essence- the act of sending out energy will have little or no effect.

A void moon does not seem to affect my chakra meditations though.

Hello Slade,
My name is Cory. The Moon is Void frequently but doesn't last very long. I noticed on the site that you gave that it is a general table for the Void moon. The website I use is www.lunarium.co.uk and it calculates planetary hours, moon phases, moon signs, void of course moon, and retrograding planets in accord with your specific location (your city or nearby city). Its really user friendly.

As far as what to avoid on the Void moon, you really dont want to perform any type of magickal working especially those of Black Magick for at this time and when planets are retrograding is why spells rebound and is where the origins of the Threefold laws and Karma come from. Self empowerment can be done at anytime but workings that involve a specific focus that involve the invoking/evoking programing and directing energy is where one needs to plan in accord with the celestial bodies. In ceremonial magick the Altar or ritual chamber is considered the macro cosmos that the operator the Microcosm operates in so you must work in accord with the seasons of not just the earth or the moon but with the seasons of the universe as well. That website is awesome , I use lunabar and chronosXP too but lunarium.co.uk is handy because it gives you tables/charts and such.
So that I can plan ahead and see whats coming.

I understand now thanks for the replies.
Basically what I concluded from your post and Syt R's , is that the directing of energy for a specific goal is a no no when the moon is void.
Self-empowerment is not effected.
