visualize my aura in first person or third person?

I'm about to start work on programming my aura for various things such as protections etc. I wanted to know whether I close my eye and see my aura around my body as If i was watching myself in a movie, or do I imagine the aura around me from a first person point of view??

Whichever works for you. I tend to do both at the same time, my mind can split that way.
