I've been an SS for awhile and have talked to various SS online. Most I meet and a whole community of them believe that whenever we summon Demons we need to do a "verification check" first always, since any entities or thought-forms can claim to be someone or go by any names/titles. I've never read about it on JoS though and apparently the way most do the verification check is making the being they summon respectfully swear they are OF Satan and then making the being summoned to invoke Satan.
But then another SS told me that high rank enemy entities can lie about this and invoke the angel biblical character Satan instead. So they told me the way to actually do the verification check is to invoke Satan after summoning a God and that any enemy/imposter beings will leave in Satan's presence.
Should we keep doing verification checks and if so what is the proper way? I'm so confused I don't know why so many SS believe and do this but I don't see anywhere about it on JoS and/or the forums.
I know most non-SS I've met who practice Occult and Spirit Work came upon imposter entities who claimed to be Satan and the Gods and they really believe these enemy entities are our Gods, so how would we prevent this happening to us..
