I'm trying to get into the habit of sleeping on my back straight to help with my spine, but when I do my head starts to feel dizzy and uncomfortable. Any suggestions to help with this problem?

Not sure u should be at all sleeping on ur back do to that, prob on a left Sims position be better and comfy it still keeps ur back straight,
Or just incline ur shoulder and up.

Anyways in my thinking, during the day is when u need to actually stay straight for when u sleep ur body normally moves around to different position.
Prob get a brace for ur back to help stay straight.

These my opinion, not medical.

actually I would advice you to get yourself a memory foam pillow \ ___\ so at least you can get really comfortable with your back straight and with high chances of falling asleep in that particular position , I usually used to lie on it on the longitudinal side with my head on the very edge of it , my luck is that I'm relatively short because I fit on it almost perfectly hips to head.

Much appreciated for the responses, in the day I'm usually busy at an office desk so my back has gotten use to slouching. Perhaps I'l request a better chair or just go with a brace but I'm definitely going to try out a memory foam pillow.
