Hello, all. I'm happy to say I've made progress the likes of which I've never made before, and things are continuing along in a positive manner. That said, I find that it's still considerably difficult for me to fall into a trance state. I'm not entirely sure I've actually done it; I can get into a state of relaxation which makes meditation easier as a whole, but I've never really experienced anything that would suggest I've successfully entered a trance. This is something that held me back for some time in the beginning, as I got it in my head that I absolutely needed to be in a trance state for the chakra meditations to work.

This post is essentially to learn from people's experiences and what has been effective for them in entering a trance. I've experimented with a few different mental tricks and found some more effective than others, so I'm eager to try different tactics. Hopefully this will be useful to anyone else having difficulties as well.

It's worthy to note as well that I'm a person who is in a perpetual state of physical unease and restlessness. Anyone who's been around me can attest to the fact that I'm always moving and I rarely sit still. This fucked up one of my more successful attempts at falling into a trance as I just started moving my arms and pulled myself out of a meditative state without even intending to move. Yoga and general attempts at relaxation have also taught me that I'm always physically tense and have to actively seek out tension in the body and deliberately work to release it.

Any and all info is appreciated. Hail Satan!
