the starting time of a spell or ritual

I have a doubt about the importance of timing during a spell or ritual. A lot of witches and practitioners (I think this site too, but I don't rememeber) say that when a spell has to be done more than once, the time that matters is the time in which you started the spell, and the spell itself carries the energies of the time you started the spell. So let's say I started a 7 days prosperity spell during a crescent to full moon, and then finish it during a waning moon, will this affect the success of the spell? Or, let's say I started doing a hex that requires two steps during the same day, and i do the first at morning (when the moon has still it's "power") and the second at night (when a void of course has started), will this negligence affect the results of the hex?
Thank you in advance for your help.
