My wife and I started the raw diet with a short juice fast, first, after a few months of slowly converting to eating anything other than fake foods like corndogs, taquitos, etc. (The things most widely available, and affordable to the american public as most of you know). The I only realized too late movies we saw on netflix were a trap into harming yourself. The dieting suggestions they tell you about are unnatural to human beings and we found this out the hard way as we got a little less brainwashed.

First, our juice fast only lasted 11 days. We lost a lot of weight, but it was extremely painful. Soon after I was shitting blood and my wife's HAIR FELL OUT. Do you realize how horrible that is for a woman at 24 years of age? It's devastating. Far worse than what I experienced. It also affected our moods for the worse, and the whole experience was just awful.

Afterwords though we tried the raw diet. At first it was alright, but I'd feel tired all the time, and we both weren't healing very quickly after the fast. Only recently have I found out the safest way to eat is probably closer to what's in the book "Nourishing Traditions" and the salad and fruit (grown by yourself with the highest quality, non-GMO seed available). We've been somewhat doing it now, and it's made a big difference. We're both getting back to normal, but not obese like before. Still haven't found a water solution though for the fluoride. But the yoga and meditating is really helping with our depression.

What do you guys do?

Eat normal food, and you will stay healthy. Of course, avoid all the junk stuff like burgers, pizzas, coca cola and those stuff. You need all the nutrients in the right proportions to live healthily. If you want to burn fat, do exercise everyday with a good diet. Do hatha yoga or learn martial arts. Have a bigger breakfast, a medium lunch and a light dinner. Also avoid vegan food. It is the worst way of shedding fat. Better eat nothing than following vegan diet. While vegan sounds great, you are missing out on several nutrients that milk and dairy based products can give. You can eat lean meat and sea food, which is healthy. If you are afraid of putting on weight, avoid red meat. You can definitely use oil in food. Fat gives you warmth. There was also a youtube video shared about a few months ago, 'how to decalcify your pineal gland'. Watch that video. It is very informative.

Diet Debate

This is my opinion as I am not a medical professional keep this in mind. I make no recommendations. I have studied diet and lived on everything from Veganism to Raw Vegan to vegetarianism to Paleo style diets. Done water fasting, juice fasting [real juice fasting not drinking 3 gallons of juice a day and calling that fasting] and even lived on the SAD diet.

Looking at the dietary problems in the West mainly North America and the different trends coming from it. Its important to consider and examine the different evidences.

Veganism has actually proved something backhanded which without realizing it also disproves themselves. The China Study the works put forth by Dr.McDougall and others put forth. Has shown that populations of the world such as South East Asian, Africa such as Kenya. These people eat organic, high vegetable diets. And none of them have the health problems of the Western nations.

But China and the other South East Asian nations along with Kenya are not Vegan. They also eat organic animal foods in their diet.

B12 the confession of Veganism's failure.

The issue is they interpret the data to convince people Vegan diets are the optimal. People have been healed by doing temporally organic plant based diets. But long term is different, even McDougall admits he has to take B12 supplements. The issue is here is this we only get B12 from animal foods without it we would die. This is why Vegans have to take lab made artificial B12 injections. The Vegan population is .5 of the American population but has 70% B12 deficiencies. Because only a plant based diet is not enough. We are omnivores. There are also other vital compounds we only get from animal food.

What such studies and names have shown is the issue is people are over eating on animal foods and under eating plant foods. With this is the toxic malnutrition as Dr.Price found the processing of foods was having back in the 30's. For most of us in the West previous generations did not fill up on large amounts of animal foods almost every meal. Its only been in the last century we have started to eat this way in the West.

People mistake omnivores for the ability to eat just one selection or over eat one selection of food either plant or animal. We evolved on both and require both. B12 proves this and the studies of the populations prove this as well.

McDougal is in my opinion also biased by his own statements as a Christian towards a all plant based diet due to the mythology of the Garden of Edin which is where the raw food diet also comes from the fundamental Christian movement such as the Seventh Day Adventists. The more current work of  the raw food camp is rehashed from the Christian raw foodist works of the previous century. Literally one such major book was plagiarized word for word of such and put out under a different title.

Personally my current diet could be called vegetarian, I still eat some meat but not that much.  I was vegetarian and high vegetarian for just over seven years all together.  Eggs are a vegetarian food. I was told by a nutritionist that egg's are a full meat product. I don't know if its so. But the egg does contain the whole animal.  Its liquid meat in my opinion. But since no animal was killed for it, its an unfertilized egg. Its considered vegetarian.
Something I note is when I was pure vegetarian I ate dairy only and it gave me weight problems as I was eating a lot to stay balanced and was trying to instinctually make up for the lack of meat was having on myself. When I went nominally vegetarian with some meat back in my diet the weight issues went down. Because I automatically stopped eating a third of the dairy intake. I could feel how important meat was.
I note that with eggs I get the similar feeling from eating that I do from muscle meat. And I don't have the desire to eat any dairy. So in this it seems does have an overall identical effect. Dr.Price recommended one whole egg per day or a piece of meat of similar size for such requirement in his book.  Which makes me wonder about how much over eating on animal products people are doing.  People are using Price's work to push almost all animal product diets. Insane.
The reason I eat high vegetarian to vegetarian is not for any ideological reasons. I just feel better when I do. And I personally just like the taste of eggs more then muscle meat. Its like a meat milk shake to me. I also find the meat even organic meat you get at the store is somewhat up and down in what you get fresh wise. Where I have never had any problems with the eggs. I like how its fresh into the pan.
Veganism is not vegetarianism. Vegans don't have any animal products in their diet. Vegetarians as mentioned do. I respect the Vegan's who admit  the diet is abnormal and lacking in important things and take proper measures with supplements and state its for the ethical stance and educate others of this and give advice for living this way that takes the persons best interest to heart and does not treat them like disposable people.
There are some caring and ethical people in Veganism. But there is also a strong current of apathy, hate and general psychopathology towards humans in ideological Veganism as well. It has strong tones of Judeo-Christian psychology to it. The saved Vegan, righteous, elect who shall inherit the  New Veganusalem. When the wicked fallen meat and diary eating humans shall be cast into a cosmic carnivore hell. For being abominations. Sinners in the hands of an angry Vegan Lord. God hates Meat Eaters!
The lying Vegan's who tell others Veganism is the normal diet of humans despite they believe their lies are doing harm. And others will suffer the price of living the Vegan lie due to this. But the above pathology is motivating a lot of this. Like the Xian makes science ape religion the Vegan makes nutritional science ape Vegan theology.
Veganism is just not doable for the human in the long run. For reasons already mentioned. But vegetarianism with the inclusion of eggs does seem to be at least for more people then Veganism is.
