They do not need to sleep or eat. They are immortal. They are gods. Like one of our members has said, their energy sustains them. We humans eat to live and eat to supply our bodies with minerals and nutrients. We sleep to re fuel our bodies. Sleep is neccessary to our health and life.

The Gods do not need to eat or sleep to live. They have so much energy and life force.

I believe that they might eat or sleep just to enjoy the sensation of sleep and the taste of food. I know I would still eat and sleep even if I did not have to.

Like I said, don't think that only the Gods can do that. Even advanced humans have this ability. For example I was watching an indian guy who said he was isolated from civilization and he lived as a hermit and all he did every day is do meditation and he become a breatharian. The same with people who have raised their kundalini, they have described that they weren't able to sleep for days or even months.

But it's true that the Gods do eat for pleasure and not to nourish themselves. They have large feasts in Duat.
