Hello,
I posted on the main group a question about teeth and Shannon replied that I might want to post it here, along with some advice.

So this below is a copy of what I posted:

Does anyone have any tips on what to do when your teeth have become kinda see through?

When I had braces they gave me very very strong tasting peppermint (its like eating 10 peppermints at once if you'd imagine it) non-fluoride toothpaste but they forgot to give me the hydroperoxide thing to flush with after I brushed my teeth and since then they've been kinda like this. Also since after braces they've been telling me to floss a lot/more often because of small holes (tooth decay) that might get worse otherwise.

Yes and I have reposted my reply below as reference: I know other members might also have some advice toggle. You definitely should look into the calc-mag supplement for a baseline towards regenerating your teeth.
Your teeth has been weakened and the enamel and calcium deposits is wearing away.
From my experience, my teeth was weakened before and so what I did was up the ante on calcium and mineral natural food based supplements. It whitened my teeth and healed them. From what I have researched as well, many have reversed tooth decay with a diet change up. I also benefited from taking away a lot of grains. I still had some but limited them for some time. My teeth lightened up too.
I am a believer in phytic acid and that it still can do some damage especially if many minerals and vitamins are lacking in the diet already. People in the past did not have much tooth damage from eating grains because they also had mineral and vitamin rich diets. In this modern day, there are so many things lacking from our food due to processing and soil depletion.
What you can do is invest in a good food derived mineral supplement. If you want, I can recommend one to you that works wonders. Its what I use. It is not cheap or expensive and you get it in bulk. It is a calcium-magnesium supplement with other vitamins and minerals to balance it out. One person should not just take a calcium supplement alone because most generic calcium supplements just end up stuck in the body and arteries causes calcification along with the pineal gland. Magnesium balances this and is also responsible for hundreds of biochemical assimilations.
That is the link below. The website is experiencing some difficulties but it is still up and available. Check back soon if you cannot access the link.

Hiya!
I had an issue with cavities and enamel wearing away. I read online that several holistic doctors had found the cure for cavitities and after doing plenty of research I decided to try it myself.
All you have to do is eat a banana then some cheese or something high in calcium. The potassium in the banana will bind to the calcium and stick to your teeth. Thats all you have to do.
I replaced fluoride toothpaste with Toms non fluoride toothpaste. Having non fluoride toothpaste with help you out a lot.
Good luck,
Hail Satan!

But something you've been having for 6 years?

I don't understand how it could have happened. It seems my body needed the calcium and might have taken it away out of my teeth. I was not using the fluoride tooth paste at the time. I was told to use some different one which tasted really gross.

Offtopic part:
Anyone else noticed that those so called 'herbal advice on how to cure things' public papers are mostly just utter and complete bullshit?
They don't mention concrete evidence, its just a sale talk.

I got a couple from the local herb selling store.. And I wouldn't recommend going there. I know they try to do well but it just doesn't exactly show. Its more like a biologic supermarket.

Yes that sounds pretty much like the humoral medicine of old that you learnt... it has some similarities with TCM, ie the bitter flavour relates to the element of fire which is seen to benefit the heart.

Hence why coffee is good for cardiovascular health.

Even studies of Western herbs however do not utilise that humoral approach, rather they just ascribe the herbs actions to singular organic compounds within the plant and say that it should cure let's say myopia in everyone regardless of their humoral status, therefore removing the effectiveness of the herbal medicine theory before even applying it in practice.

Although, even at a 40% success rate they say it is not useful despite many pharmaceutical drugs receiving FDA approval on percentages smaller than this.

So for so far I have been taking calcium supplements, and a couple of minutes ago I looked in the mirror to see the differences .. well at least my teeth don't look as yellow anymore. But I did notice I got vertical lines on my teeth.

What are those? Is this healthy? I have never seen it before o.o

Are you just taking calcium supplements or a calcium-magnesium supplement?

Just taking a calcium supplement without magnesium to guide and balance it out(magnesium is missing in alot of our diets) the calcium can get deposited in our pineal gland and other parts of our body which can cause further calcium deposits that cause pain and stiffness in our ligaments. Magnesium utilizes calcium in the parts of the body which need the calcium.

I have had a lot of success with this.

Lines in the teeth are easily signs of teeth and enamel wearing away or just a bit weakened.
This is nothing to really worry about but these are usually signs of using your teeth a lot like biting on hard objects such as grinding your teeth, chewing on ice, and other things.

This does not mean your tooth will crack.

What kind of dental work did you undergo in the past if any?

A teeth whitening can bleach the teeth and make the lines hard to detect.

I have had half of my milk teeth pulled out by a dentist and I've had braces.

That's about it.

I know I don't get magnesium enough but I do like chocolate so I've started to eat pure chocolate for the magnesium.
The calcium magnesium combined supplements are far from ideal in that they'd always contain a high amount of hard to digest chemical compounds and basicly they won't be taken in by the body because of this.

They use to give people a fluoride thing and I've had one about every 2 years when I was a teenager, sometimes every year :s now I am just not saying anything about the one that is supposed to clean your mouth. Been about 2-3 years since the last time I had that disgusting blue stuff.

I have never used any whitening products and I can easily show you a picture of the severity of the problem.

Shannon, I couldn't get those. I DO NOT LIVE IN THE USA.
Plus shipping costs are ridiculously expensive.

Guys thanks very much for the conversation, but right now it is as if I am on my own.

k so I stopped with the supplements about a month ago because suddenly the white of my eyes turned blue.

Since then I have used tea instead; alchemilla vulgaris ; which contains in minerals calcium magnesium and fosfor, which has had quite a significant result. I still am not there yet, but this seems relatively saver than what I was using.
I noticed also that rubus fructicosus (raspberry) leaves (which are used in tea) contain magnesium and calcium too. I haven't looked up any other herbs so far. Figured I might as well share.

Also I haven't been doing anything with the orange peel because the source can not be trusted to be pesticide free. Since they don't naturally grow in this country here. Too cold.

I am still having problems with my teeth. I have been trying to drink tea that contains more calcium and this approach seems to help. But no long term effects.

It is like, one moment or one day they look better and the other it is worse again.

I don't think I can be fixing anything regarding to this till I move out of this home and finally be able to cook healthy meals instead of filler ridden ready bought stuff from the store that only needs heating.

Also read a bit upon sour base food types. Erosion to the teeth is done by sours. Those sours take the elements and minerals out of the body. Thus creating a body that is low on minerals (creates problems).
And I noticed that when I drink tea (in example) or when I was at school drunk herbal tea with herbs from their garden (another example) that my teeth got whiter and slightly less see through themselves. So probably a general mineral defiency.

Another point. Vitamin K2 which can be obtained by eating Natta (Japanese meal - fermented soy beans) is VERY important in moving the calcium to the bones (and teeth).

About fluor in the water. On Wikipedia it says that since 1973 or so it is not permitted to put it in the water, then I find another website that says it IS in the water at 1,1 mg a Liter while in the sea they speak about 1,5 ppm or so and other measurements that do not seem to add up together...

*sigh* There is so much to figure out. It is just simply ridiculous to try to do the best on all. I might go in discussion with my parents that I can have a tiny bit of space in the cooler where I may put vegetables and such to put on my bread (which I will all obtain myself of course) So I won't have to think every single time about what is best to eat or not. Plus I can try new dishes.

Last month or so I noticed that whenever I happen to eat too much sugar it just hurts.

Earlier today I was busy and offered a cookie so I accepted just to be quick and get rid of it so I ate it. BUT IT HURTED SO BAD that I had to spit it out and wash my mouth.

it's not the teeth itself that hurt, but more like the nerves underneath it.
Mainstream calls it 'sensitive teeth' or 'sensitive gums' but if you feel it in the actual nerves, then why the heck is this?!

Also I really don't get when the evidence is totally obvious people still would buy that treacherous toxic waste.

Anyway what I was wondering, is there anything I could do to lessen the amount of pain? Or what could be causing this reaction (I don't mean the sugar)?

I think I have mentioned before in another thread that the teeth are indicative of and reliant upon the strength of the kidney energy. Over sensitivity and other teeth weakness problems can be related to this especially when there is also present:

-low back pain
-urinary dysfunction
-extreme feelings of cold or heat
-hearing loss and tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
-edema
-poor digestion.

Strengthening the kidney energy in these cases would be the key to de-sensitising the teeth.

thanks. ehm everything starts with a base energy right?

And with the Chinese that'd be seen as water with the 5 element thing. (I don't know if there are other views on this). If there is not enough energy in general then that could work through all the other systems?

I am tired I barely know what I want to say.

Well basicly I was wondering if there was something that could pull the most basic things back into balance, no matter what defiency it is.

Oh also someone mentioned to me that extreme fear lowers the kidney energy?

I don't really have many physical complaints but there are just some things that are or seem to be off.

Also was wondering what exactly you'd call poor digestion and if having moments of not feeling the need to go to the toilet although normally you'd have gone sooner would be an urinary dysfunction problem as well? Although that might just have been a one time incident?

I wouldn't consider a one time incident of anything to be indicative of a true dysfunction.

And yes, fear damages the kidney energy over time.

There are few things which just fix deficiency as a general thing although American ginseng supposedly had this ability, not to be confused with Panax Ginseng which is very heating.
