I've noticed every time I do meditations or breathing exercises I feel like grinding my teeth like if my jaws are full of enery. Could it be the meditations or is it just me? Anyone else have similar experiences?

its definetly the meditations :) increased bioelectricity.

Yeah, I grind my teeth also sometimes even at night while am
sleeping. lol Am trying to get it under control. My grinding
though has toned down some. It's not an everyday thing, just
sometimes I do that.

Hail Satan!!! Hail Azazel!!! Hail the Gods of Duat!!!

Teeth grinding is usually related to anger. It is harmless and is prevalent in alcoholics when they sleep. Please don't worry about it and keep trying to relax more while you meditate---it will go away. I am afraid of those people who grind teeth when I'm trying to kiss them---joking, of course. That was a good question and I want to add that, many people do that after a hard day of work. Keep doing the meditation and forget it as a problem. Holzman49@...

It is not harmless, it can damage/break the roots of your teeth and lead to root canals being needed. My mom used to have that problem, and that's what her dentist told her. She had to get a mouth guard to wear at night.

You can get a device which you wear at night to prevent or at least lessen teeth grinding (bruxism), custom made from a dentist or, I understand, even available in some drugstores.

My daughter broke one of her crowns, so it's not always harmless (she's under a lot of stress right now); I imagine that with some people it's more severe than others.

Yes, You are correct. I was thinking of mild cases. In her specific situation, I think that deep relaxation was a fear of "letting go." Craig Schnase or Holzman49@...
