Hello, dear Zevists, and Happy Samhain!
Although this article will not be focused on Samhain specifically, I will focus on a topic for which I now have time to write.
This is for everyone, for new people, intermediate and probably for someone advanced.
I will unify some terms to remember them so we can more easily apply it in living, will link some of my older articles along the way and some sermons from Clergy. So don’t hesitate to click on those words to learn more deeply what we speak about.
Now. This is important to share because I felt a powerful sense of peace by applying this in real life and in a live situation. For me, it was on the edge of entering into disbalance, both inside and outside, which would have cost me some more serious cleaning and restabilising of my Soul for the evening of that day and probably for the morning of the following one. But there is always another positive side which I will show now.
Let's start with the knowledge on astrology using the example of Mercury Retrograde, which we are in currently now (the reason why I take this as an example, but it will apply to many other things in life). Let's focus just a little on its negatives, the causes of what we deal with in life, and how we can come to a positive understanding beyond this.
We very often see in the external world how people are pushed by these forces of planets, programmings and of Izfet (Ancient Egyptian term for the primordial adversary of cosmic order) during astrological situations such as Mercury Retrograde.
(“The human mind does not naturally tend toward clarity; it tends toward the path of least resistance, which is the acceptance of whatever is easiest to believe. Without the active cultivation of knowledge, the mind fills with Izfet: superstition, prejudice, fear, and the acceptance of falsehood as truth.”)
Misunderstandings, conflicts, ego inflation, the question of who is right or wrong, whether it is me or another person in communication, hate, anger, frustration, opposition, and barriers to communication.
All this, and the negative light in which the things mentioned above and more can appear, happens exactly because of Izfet, lack of knowledge, and similar factors.
“Knowledge is power”–Lady Pythia
Now, in the Temple's teachings, when looking at every Sermon on Pathologies, we can see at the end of each of them that pointing towards an individual for a certain pathology is wrong because it is the disease, not the individual. We also know that a person born in that environment is not guilty of having it inside, but is still responsible for healing.
This understanding is something very special, and its spectrum is very wide in terms of how many areas it can cover to help us live in peace in our minds.
When you argue with somebody during Mercury Retrograde or even at any time in life, never get angry at another person, yourself, or the situation, because these forces of nature exist throughout the whole cosmos and operate through every living and inanimate being.
The one who mistreats you, as perceived in your mind during MRX, is not guilty. Behind it, there are many, many forces of nature, both outside and inside, their sources, planets, systems, programmings, ignorance, different dimensions, levels of Izfet, and all are spiritually intertwined with each other and throughout existence.
All of it moves reality, and those who are not enough powerful, not disciplined, or less in alignment with Ma'at are easily moved left and right by it.
(“Ma'at is simultaneously truth, justice, order, balance, and cosmic harmony.”)
Look beyond individuals, and always remember that there is a source of the problem which is not an individual and has no individuality. It is the forces themselves, which are as they are and have always been in the cosmos. And remember Epistemot (Greek liturgical term for the removal of knowledge).
(“In Zevism, Epistemot denotes the deliberate killing of knowledge: the denial, perversion, suppression, or destruction of universal laws as expressed through spiritual understanding, scientific discovery, philosophical inquiry, and the practical arts.”)
Many, many things are behind negative interactions in our lives. You can start with a planet astrologically in the solar system, go all the way through an individual's astrological chart, with all the other planets in it whose positions at someone's birth time bring an individual influences to each person, then consider their environment, parents, childhood traumas, not following the path of discipline, impurity and dross, not exercising willpower and intellect, never having cleaned their aura and chakras in their lifetime, lack of physical exercise (yes, even this, as Temple teaches is a crucial factor and results in a weak body when handling energies inside and outside), not Meditating, no Theurgy, not having aura of protection and many, many more things.
So, don't take anything personally, because everyone can have it, and in a big part it is not people but forces of nature. But this doesn't take away the responsibility of making at least your own self straight in life, to have order, strength, wisdom and balance so that one can control their states and be happy, regardless of the opposition in life.
Everyone has responsibility for their Soul, and ToZ gives a teaching, how we can do it in the best way. So focus on working on yourself, and eventually, it will all be overcome.
